You're not allowed to team request. Go and read the AUP.

kthxbye.

I see that you have only two locked posts. Is the second one that you speak of this...

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=109445&b=6

That was locked because it was in Code Snippets. Questions don't belong there, only working code for the community.

Your team request was locked because it was a standard half baked team request. In order to make one, you need to follow the guidelines in the AUP. You can't pretend to be the president of a big company, and you need to have significant progress made with screenshots and hopefully videos and even a demo before people will take it seriously.

This post here is noobish and embarrassing. You're just calling negative attention to yourself with it. I hate to sound mean, but it's true.

Just relax, make your game, and ask for help when you need it. You'll get it

It has been decided that the Code Snippets forum needs a bit of focus from the Mods. There are clear instructions at the top of the board - snippets only, and they ***must*** be labelled as DBC or DB Pro.

It's not to be awkward, in fact it's quite the opposite. The snippets board was becoming far less useful because nobody knew if a snippet would work or not in their product until they ran it.

Heh, I remember asking a question in the Code Snippets board, but it was something like "Is this a fractal?" and inside was an awesome snippet that made a cool image.. wasn't a fractal though, lol.

Im still confused as to why he would recruit newcommers to help work on his game. Its like going to kindergarten and asking for help with a rubix cube.

I took Xsnip3rX under my wing for a few weeks on msn after work and got him to explore arrays functions and types, I helped him edit video for his game etc as well.

We got quite a way and then when we got into types and he lost focus, and started to get negative and despondent.

I've talked to him quite a bit, answering various questions. He should just understand that programming requires lots of experience and education. I'm sure he'll do okay, provided he sticks with it and continues to learn.

Xsnip3rX, you're probably surprised and a bit offended by my post above, but it's nothing but honest. I hope you learn from it and move on. Later

Sorry, never. Even ignoring my time here I've just never had noobish tendencies. I've always been practical and deliberate in regard to myself, and practical and all-too-honest in regard to others.
