Download has been removed as I'm unsure if permission is needed for the textures. Sorry

Vorconan's right, the screaming faces texture is from Doom, so I'd recommend you take the texture off of the pack and re-post without any copyright content.

Why do people always make flat walls, a face with a texture slapped on it.
Meh kinda bores me.

Due to this forum's policy, I think you need to remove the wall with the face's. It's definently from Doom, I was just playing it on my 360 in Xbox Live Arcade I would expect you to at least give credit Nickydude, this disappoints me.

EDIT: To back me up a bit more solidly, here is a screenshot from Doom. Technically it is a custom level (since I didn't want to go looking for it) however this texture was in the main IWAD (file block containing game resources). All I did was open up Doom Builder (level editor), scroll through the default textures for Doom 2 and found it rather quickly.

You can find it on level 30 of doom 2, Icon of Sin. It's the scrolling texture by the teleporter (yes, I like Doom).

Don't talk badly about doom!! They didn't have polygons in that era. It's the best game ever made, even with the bad graphics, which are better in some ports.

I've collected textures for years so I'm not sure where they all came from. The faces room has now been removed (can you tell I haven't played DOOM for a looong time!)

Is there any other texture that shouldn't be there?

I thought they looked familiar, but i didn't want to make any accusations.

I think its also somewhere in Chapter 3 (Inferno) of the original DOOM.

The segments should be unpacked into the segments folder in FPSC and the entities into the entities folder. Anyone else having this trouble?

I was just gonna say, I coulda swore they were in the original Doom aswell.

Anyways, Nickydude, if you got these overtime, how do you know if you have the right to distribute them? I realize your not asking for money, but some textures can't be re-distributed without permission and we need to be a bit clearer on the license. I'm not usually quite too critical about this but I've seen alot of stealing (especially when I went back to the GM forums) and I don't like it.

Although Thy Flesh Consumed was quite a boring episode, but let's not get into that.. again.

Anyhow, since you're a respected member and have contributed with much, I believe you when you say this was an honest mistake, Nicky. Apology accepted, at least on my behalf.

Sorry about OT again, but have you guys played Knee-Deep in ZDoom? Awesome modernized version of the first episode using the ZDoom/GZDoom engine.

Yeah, it's awesome!! I'm also playing the modded version of the doomsday engine, the one with the 3d models, thats cool too.

Not off-topic since there is no topic anymore

Yeah, Doomsday with expansion packs is friggin' leet. But the models are very badly animated, but I guess that's because they were directly based of off the original animations sort of, and not adjusted to fit in more smoothly with the new dimension of gameplay that Doomsday provides.

The shotgun especially is, but I thought the arachnotron had a good death, along with the cacodemon, I've always liked their deaths in the original doom

Sorry to rip your pack apart Nick, but I'm glad you've taken it upon yourself to pull it down. Honesty like that is respectable, even if it has to be pulled outta ya

On the off topic - Zdoom rocks. I liked Doomsday originally, but I prefer ZDoom because of the Hexen map format + I don't really care for the 3D models (or the weird sprite orientation - go up to a dead body and look right/left, you'll see what I mean - looks like FPSC's decals )
