I'm sorry, but I didn't know how to contact the mods any faster. I used the report abuse, but nothings happened yet. This guy took a shot of sim city societies and put his sig on it and is claiming it's his. No one is fooled, and everyone's really pissed at him. And yet he's trying to convince us he's the greatest game maker ever.

He is literally an insult to everyone on this forum.

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=110563&b=8

please PLEASE can a mod read this and stop this guy?

It's just that the mods are rarely on the wip board...

EDIT:
Oh, I forgot to say. PLEASE don't' post in the other thread if you can help it. This was the fastest way to get a mods attention, and unfortunately everyone else's.

I couldn't lock the thread (as it is beyond the realms of FPSC); but I did put him on post moderation for 2 days, till a full Mod can stop by.

It seems it wasn't really worth bothering with him, I mean he's not prepare to learn the easy way, he's now going to learn the hard way and will see that plagiarism hurts the guy who gets found out more than anything and his game making will go to pits as well and maybe then, he'll realise 'maybe that was a bad idea after all'. Glad you locked it Keith, if he doesn't like advice then it was a good idea to stop him from having all that attention, that's why some people do this. Good stuff Mr Moderator

Hmm... That would be an interesting thing to vote on. Like how many people think he should be banned verus not being banned?

Of course, a thread about that would be doomed to be locked.

Anyways, this thread has served its purpose.

If blatant plagiarism doesn't warrant a slap or lock on this forum then it should.

But yeah, this probably should be locked.

Edit: sorry about the double post.

Edit2:I'm not going to even post in either of the 2 threads he just made. Please, someone ban him.

Why the urgent need to lock the thread? Most of the mods have day-jobs, and that thread was created today. It's not the end of the world to have the thread open for a day, is it?

Gee. I've lived a stone's throw from New York since the late 1940's, and I still can't discern any New York diction in his posts. His French-English website links to English using - the Union Jack?

I wonder if they're the same person? Maybe he moved and has a new IP or something .

As have I (well, since 1979 anyway, hehe). But I guess in the year 2700 (as his Location suggests), everyone in the Tri-State area is going to talk like a [expletive deleted]? I did hear one person in this general region once who talked with his same command over the English language. She was in Atlantic City, a heavy-set woman who pretended to not have arms or legs so she could get tips playing a digital piano with her tongue. I heard her get yelled at once, and respond by yelling back, and she talked like this Serge guy. So in a stretch...

I love that comic it's soooo true

The sad thing is he's posted another fake to the TCG screenshot gallery, I thought screenies were approved?

Quote: "More Info: SERDJO3D is an F P S were players can unchain their skills and power. The player got unLOCKED powers!"

Might have been a clue to it being a bad screenshot

EA Games might take a legal dislike to the association that their products are made with dark basic?

It is understandable about the screen shots. Considering there's literally millions of games out there, unless you know the game well, it's hard to catch fakes. That's when I huge community comes in handy

I've been feeling unwell for a while, so i haven't been here recently. I just read through that entire thread and fell out of my chair laughing at least twice. Why someone would even think that would be a good idea in some alternate universe I'll never know.

I first came across this thing in newcomers / DBP talk. He completely irritated me when he messed up what was meant to be somebody elses request for help.

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=109707&b=7&p=0

Sorry for diverting his attention to the Work In Progress board, I didn't realise he would post the same thing 3/4 times.

edit: And seeing as he isn't around any more (until 2008?) don't bother posting there about this whole issue relating to this fake WIP.

You know what would be fun? We could make a game where you play as that guy, and you are trying to anger people. So you choose what to say, throw stuff at them, etc. It would be called "The Legend of Serdjo". Or not.

no, making a n00b simulator is impossible because n00bs are too unpredictable. we could make a newbie simulator but that would be no fun (yes, there is a difference between n00b and newbie)
