Well it didn't with that last post anyway!

I know of a problem with backslashes when you edit a post (the forum removes them), but nothing related to the question mark...

[Edit] Oops - misread your post. You said quotation marks - not question marks.

Same reply though - not come across that problem either.

"This" and 'this' seem to be OK.

This has happened to me before as well. I'm not sure why that happens I guess all you can do is just repost it.

It's a php thing, \" is how you put quotation marks when using echo() to write to an html file.

If you wanted to print (including the quotes):

"This is what you're talking about",

you'd have to type

\"This is what you\'re talking about\"
