I just used my new Nvidia 8600 on FPSX9 and pressed X and a frame rate of up to 800 tops!!!!

This has nothing to do with the new version.

But yes, a newer graphic card will do that. But remember when developing games for it, not everyone has that card. Most people have probably between 6xxx to 7xxxx series.

I got an 8600 too,its amazing what power it has for just 150 Euro's.

I have a 8800GTS overclocked. it's eats games such as STALKER and Oblivion for breakfast

Just thought I would add my opinion before this thread gets locked.
