@Zombie 20
If I'm to be riding a bike, I'll need to recover one of the 3 bikes that were stolen from me this year, as I'm out of bikes.

Also, I'm not sure where the nearest doctors office, or even hospital is. Not sure where to look either... Would a phone book have an address?

@GatorHex
Not really. After "paranoia" and other, less-severe, explanations came up, I started to feel better. I'm guessing it was just paranoia... Again.... But still... Is there a way to just get rid of paranoia all-together? Erm, well Hypochondria actually, but still, is there?

@Johny_S
What do you mean by that? <The girlfriend thread> As for actually being sick, I don't know if I was sick or not, but I was definately feeling those pains.

@Insert Name Here
Okay, grab the doctor-mobile and I'll grab the capes! We shall be, Patient 1 and Patient 2! But seriously, I will as soon as I can.

Everyone, I've been feeling better since about a day or two after the "Shingles" was mentioned, in case you can't tell by my posts. I try to make my posts here reflect how I'm feeling... The sillier they are, the better/happier I'm feeling, the more depressing or "grim" they are, the crappier I feel. Currently, I feel fine.

Cheers,

-naota

-Go to the ER.

-Give them a fake name and address. Do not bring your driver's license or any ID. If they ask what your social security number is, tell them "you don't know it by heart". You might tell them you are not a U.S. citizen, if you are a good liar.

-They have to treat you, and will have no way of billing you.

This is how illegal aliens obtain medical treatment in the U.S.

@JoshK... nice... However I don't know that a moderator, a voice of sound and reasoning at the forum should be disclosing this information. Though I suppose that if a life is involved then it's ok.

Woah that is freaky!
Did you know that picking up egg shells makes you fly?

Great way to calm him down
"RELAX MAN! Or you'll die!"

The ER idea is good, I got stabbed with a dart in the hand (Accident ) and got a doctor straight away You can get tetanus from that, don't know what it is but I didn't get it
Just stumble in saying "No hablo Ingleses!" and exaggerate your syptoms; no good saying your arm hurts cos they'll look at your arm and then throw you out.

How to get medical attention FAST
1. Walk in
2. Go to the reception desk
3. Collapse on floor

Yay stress! </sarcasm> I'm getting kicked out of my house, and I'm gonna go live 2 or 3 states away from my current one. Maybe I'll actually have health insurance then...

I'm concerned of your optimism, Aaron, which seems to give you a false sense of comfort. Why are you getting kick out? You really need to get a permanent (and secure) home. Sounds like you've been kicked around a lot between your family.

@da power pwnerer
Afraid so.

@Dr Manette
It'll be another month and a week before I get kicked out. I've arranged a permanent home with some friends. Well, technically permanent, at least until I can get my own place. Plus I'd be contributing what I could to them, so it'd help them more than it would help me I believe.

I have optimism? I have sarcasm, not sure about optimism. I'm getting kicked out for some reasons I would prefer not to get into.

I have a phrase for you

"Doctorum Adamus Flabello cum Dolci" It is clearly Latin, and what it literally translates as is:

Doctor of fat Adams garden of eden.

Doesnt make a lot of sense does it, but that is because it is a metaphor for something else. Actually this phrase is the name of the doctorate given out by the British Medical School to honourary doctors, and it's meaning is "Doctor of Sweet F.A.".

Without evidence to the contrary most of the people giving you medical advise in this thread have not even qualified for a "Doctor of Sweet F.A." no matter how well informed they appear to be, let alone a doctorate worth the paper that it is written on.

Therefore your only sensible and predunt course of action is to speak to somebody who has qualified for a doctorate that has slightly more substance than Flabello Adamus cum Dolci.

EDIT: Turns out there where 5 pages to this thread... Ho hum

I appologise for my poor English. My Doctor says it's because i'm thick.

Youll roll over and recover eventually, Aaron, so dont feel like its the end of everything. I know how you feel.
On second thought not exactly how you feel, but the miserably depressed feeling you had, ive had.
I would say go see a doctor, but then again almost all the posts in this thread have contained "GO SEE A DOCTOR" or "Im not a doctor"

Go talk to your neighbour. They will be able to help you. or a friend.

Has this ever happened before?
