I just bought the GraveMatter model pack and I think it's great, except for one thing. The mummy model appears to be hovering a few inches off the ground in a test build. I is flush with the ground when you look at it in the editor, but in the build, it hovers just above the ground! Is there a way to change this so that he is properly aligned with the ground??

Thanks for any help!

Did that. It IS on the ground in the editor. I tried putting it even lower but it still floats over the ground in the build.

i dont have grave matter so i cant help directly, but i can give you some advice. If you have Fragmotion you can grab what would be the pelvis bone or first bone connected with the skeleton, and pull it down to where the bottom of the feet meet with the 0 y coordinate. Im a bit iffy about its .x exporting capabilaties so I always export as a milkshape3d file and the use the JT exporter in milkshape. Hope that helped a little.

Yes, I think I understand. The problem is in the alignment with the y axis in the world. I don't have fragmotion, but I went into the fpe file for the model and found a setting for "fixy=0". I presume that this adjusts the y positioning of the model relative to it's position in the editor.

Yo gave me an idea! Thanks very much. Will try adjusting that value and seeing what it does.

Are you able to shoot the mummy?

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

No, the mummy is dynamic. Yes, I can shoot him and he executes his AI correctly. The only problem is that he is positioned just above the ground, giving the impression that he is hovering, like a ghost.

Will_help : I tried using the enter to force him to the ground, but in the build he is still hovering just above it. Everything looks ok in the editor, though. He appears right up against the ground in the editor.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I really appreciate the suggestions!

EDIT: Actually, I have to shoot him in the foot to do any damage! Shooting his body has no effect.

That's what I meant, I also have Gravematter and shooting the Mummy has no effect... never tried shooting him in the foot though... hmmm...

Edit: I put 'Zombie' instead of 'Mummy'.

Gravematter was made when FPSC first came out and it functions fine in v1.If the maker of this application decides to upgrade the media for use in later versions of FPSC that's fine.If not there's still plenty of media in Gravematter that can still be used.
I do not know if the maker of the application is ever planning on updating Gravematter/Magic FPS.I haven't heard from him in a while.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

I e-mailed him a few days ago but got no response. I think this is a very well done pack, even if there are some little problems. I WOULD like it if I could fix the dams floating mummy, but other than that, everything else looks fine. I mean, it's $5 !! I think there's alot there for just $5. Will try changing some of the setting in the entity's fpe file. I have no idea what some of these settings do, but trial & error is the best way to find out!
