I tested out of Computer Literacy today. Good thing I knew that a CPU is responsible for processing information, and that a byte is larger than a bit.

How many Megabytes in a Terabyte?
1000 or 1024 depending upon who you ask.
How many bytes is an Exabyte?
2^64
What does RAM stand for?
Random Access Memory
What does ROM stand for?
Read Only Memory
What is the difference between NTFS and FAT32?
FAT32 is a legacy filesystem invented many years ago which has severe limitations and deficiencies. However, its simplicity makes it trivial to implement compared to other filesystems and it has become something of a standard. NTFS is the filesystem Microsoft wrote for NT kernel operating systems with the intent of replacing FAT32. It implements many of the missing features of FAT32 and is more reliable.

Hehe, reminds me of the first few lessons of Creative Practice 2 last year: "what's a hypertext narrative" and "what's a non-linear plot?" The first couple of weeks were just patronising. Non-linear - doesn't go in a straight line...perhaps it's a plot that doesn't go in a straight line? Applying it only take half a brain cell to work out. But no, not only did we have to look up definitions and thing about it, we had to do spider-diagrams of various non-linear things.

Not many answer his questions in class, he seemed to think people were struggling for answers, but I think people felt stupid if they said something like, "oh the Butterfly effect was non-linear!"

Some modules/classes might seem patronising because the lecturer unestimates the knowledge of their students, though sometimes you might actually be in a class where typically people don't have a clue, after-all after watching that Norwegian show Grandma linked me too. I can tell there are some real fools out there, I think one person was so convincing that the monitor was the computer that anybody who told her otherwise was lying, after all the PC tower was just a 'box'.

I took a class like that too...just because it had the word "computer" in it. Bad idea. VERY bad idea.

I have instigated discussion! happyz. Oh, and I found out that I have to take an American History Pre-1865 class now, since the test wasn't for credit, just to bypass the class. Course all the books for it have been bought so I have to wait for more to come in.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.

That's where you're wrong, old Omega boy. My test was so elaborately woven that you did not even realise that by testing me you were testing yourself, as the very inspiration for the test was planted deep in your simple mind by yours truly.

Sepp mentioned Shadow of the colossus so i had to dig it out. I got up to this one after just exploring the place, Its fin'in huge lol so i took my time. After i reached the third i think, i came across him, so while dodging his attacks i drew him. It was much more fun than just normally drawing something alot harder aswell. Good thing i can play with my toes ^^"

Here he is anyway.

Filtered cause i Cba scanning.
I went overboard with the pens and the card i used was a bit sun bleached lol. I was cleaning my room up, too much writing, drawing, carving, woodshavings, scalple heads, books, pens, pencils, tape, sketch books and much more lol.

Its not dirty just crowded.

I found a roll of gafa tape, 3 masking tapes, parcel tape, 4 rolls normal tape lol.

Thats the tip of the iceberg. I clean like this once in a blue moon... 2 binbags of paper recycled, most of it was drawings =_="

On the upside i found 3 cans of carlsberg and 4 carling. twinnings green tea 80* unopened with lemon tea 20* unopened, Digestive biscuits, custard creams, and cholcate burbons.

Am drinking the carling now while eating the burbons ^^

I love my room =9

Pic.
