I studied the entire weekend, aaand took the test today after school. It was kinda scary, she graded the test right infront of me

WOOHOoOoO!

unfortunately... AP chem is the hardest class at my school, and apparently everyone who had a girlfriend or boyfriend when they entered that class didn't anymore after a couple of weeks, just due to the amount of time it takes

but for now WOOHOoOoO!

So then I started playing Left 4 Dead with my friends.

The average smoker spends $1500 per year on cigarettes. That amount of money could feed 16 impoverished third-world children for an entire year.

@Gunn3r, Lazerus

I can't wait until society collapses and it isn't necessary to waste thousands of pounds and thousands of hours getting a piece of paper saying "I am not an idiot". Perhaps, then, the strange new world would populate with people who are actually good at their jobs and not good at writing essays, the latter being all you need to get most qualifications and the average quality of code will come back out of the gutter it's slowly sank into these last ten years.

Irony is, I have always thoguht about things like that.

And this is what i came up with.

Ideals are like sand, You can build a castle on them, But its destined to fall.

Sometimes i wish i could drop this world of man, and walk out to nature to live by her rules.
Life would be simpler then would it not?

And on a more serious side, why cant i?, Why is it that we live by rules set about by others?
Bah things like this puzzle me to an end where i just leave it under the rug.

Oh, and for religious people, God/s set the rules, why do we live by mans then?

Another perplexing mystery...

Yes thier set for order and stability, but still,
Quote: ""You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any.
You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write 'F you' right under your nose.""

There are times that I consider that if I could choose to go through life without every knowing another, I would. Glad to know it's not just me who is sick of oppression and society. (Or are they the same damned thing?)

Our time here is short, plesentries and formalities?

Sure i can go for that, right to the point where a i meet a girl who's no other asperation in life was to become a WAG, (Footballers wife)

Or the breakpoint at which a Child (11) was found dead from alcohol poisoning. His best friend was too choked to tell medics anything.

I can hunt, i can provide for myself. I could drop this world now, but ties to my better nature stop me breaking thier hearts.

If it was at all possible i would leave this land.

Children. My mother used to work at Stafford Hospital, and the amount of times I'd hear some little kid had snapped under pressure and overdosed on drugs or drank themselves dead. The youngest, I remember, was eight. Often, they'd survive once, be sent home and then a week later come in dead. That's how this sickening world works. Nobody cares.

You don't hear about it often for the same reason you don't hear about car crashes that often. It's so frequent to document every instance would fill the newspaper.

Oh come on, there's nothing wrong with society!

Kanye got world fameous*4 overnight for something incredibly petty, a giant child-kidnapping ring gets uncovered
and it barely reaches the back of the paper (and it doesn't seem like any actions is being done to stop it).

Twilight zone ey?

Well, seeing as the original subject was the end of society and thereby a governing body, is either term really applicable?

I would disagree. Freedom is subjective. One can be a slave and still be physically free, and one can be chained but free in mind.

Happiness... well, I'm not familiar with that, no comments.

Do you really think society is that bad? Do you think too many innocent children die in the civilized world? Try being a soldier in a war.

Do you know what it's like when a grenade goes off right next to you? Do you know what it's like when that grenade blows off one of your leg and kills your best friend in the army, several other of your fellow soldiers, and the large group of children you were trying to rescue?

If you'd been through that, you'd cling to society for dear life. Because for all it's faults (and it does have many), it's sure as hell better than the alternatives.

What do you think you're fighting for, my dear Herakles, but the preservation of your society? Societies and the bitter, pathetic, pointless conflicts between them.

Who killed your friend? Another human being. Why? Because their society told them to.

No it's not. We fight for power, money, and oil. That's what the young fools who join the army waste their lives on today. The government treats them like pawns, and I hate it.
