The student radio I was on a couple of years ago is back.

(Hooray!) New studio, new people, new name, new attitude, excellent! It went down due to breaking H&S laws, somebody break OFCOM regulations and personal problems, it was really frustrating and last (academic) year was counter-productive as people were wound up and against each other and people who wanted to help. The 'problem' people are now gone and it looks as though all will be well.
This means I get another radio show. This time it's for the extreme end of metal music, with a few slightly mellow tracks in between. I've just been working on my playlist for next week (when my first show broadcasts), I've got some quite nice loud tracks - though I can't say what, so I'm going to have to make people tune in and find out what we're playing for themselves.

We'll have battle metal, death metal, black metal, thrash metal and where we find appropriate, power metal and even symphonic (just to have mellower tracks)
We're called Trollhouse on DRS, I'll give you a web link when the time comes and a link to our facebook group (currently not set up) and have an input. It's an internet radio, so most should be tuned in, though our license requires that we geolock certain countries, but people tend to get around it.
Also, Evan Davis will do the honours of opening our station on Thursday, for those who do not know, he's the guy that presents Dragon's Den and does stuff for BBC Radio 4. Conveniently, BBC Radio 4 are at our Uni on Thursday doing all sorts of workshops, convenient, eh?
I can't wait to get back on to air, I've missed it.
Also, for those confused, "Seppuku on internet radio?" I'll just refer you to old threads:

Quote: "Some metal music to add into your show
Ensiferum
Wintersun
"
We have acquired some Ensiferum now, so we can fill that request almost a year too late.
When it comes closer and everything is set up, I'll set-up a thread. I'm excited and can't wait.

My last co-host is no longer a student, so I'll be with Alecto, who appeared on a couple of my shows last time we were on air.
