... What happened to the post count? It was 10,248 last time I checked. Then I come back and there are two more posts, but the post count goes up by three.

Who's on post approval?

Right.

Well, just caught up with Bleach, unfortunately, and I'm looking for a new manga to read. Anybody have some good suggestions?

Well its done. I now have a hollow mask

Started at 12.20 and finished at 3.20 so a good deal of time bent over fine detailing lol.

I couldnt decide on the bloody teeth/jaw area. Thats what i got to in the end anyway.

This has cost me £6 for all the materials which by all accounts is dirt cheap ^_^

When its dry/ tommorow/ ill post a few pics of my full outfit ^_^

Though i still have to fine detail with sandpaper to get the right depth in some areas.

Thats what I was thinking, or maybe crush up some charcoal and brush on to add the shadowing.

Either way should look pretty smart.

speaking of new computers, iam getting a huge upgrade on mine to compensate for the rendering times.

Its not a bad pc, 2ghz dual, 2gb ram, GT 8500-512mb 4gb cache.

but ill need a upgrade for my uni course/

Creative computing at hope university.

http://www.hope.ac.uk/undergraduate-2010/creative-computing.html

I want to be able to render the scenes alot quicker than now, especially since i need to do a 20sec teaser trailer for a friend and volumetric clouds are a pain to get right lol.

Okay, what about THIS computer?

It's a Gateway and has a decent rating with more reviews, so I think I might get it, a long with a 19" Dell widescreen monitor with a max resolution of 1440x900. And all for only $630!!!

Oh, come on, you can do better than an Intel graphics chipset for $630.

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

That's why I'll upgrade the graphics card just a little while after purchasing the PC. 384MB is quite a lot more VRAM than my current PC has anyway (64MB), so...it's an upgrade, even for me!

@Yodaman
Doesn't change the fact you're being ripped off there. £380 for that... seriously. If you insist upon getting ripped off by... uh... buying a desktop from a mainstream company, get it from somewhere decent.

Damn, wish newegg shipped to the UK. That's a decent deal for something factory built.

You just shouldn't buy pre-made PCs. It's more than likely going to be cheaper to buy the separate pieces - and built it yourself.

You should put your lucky piece of cloth in the wash. It'll be just as lucky, but with the smell of the laundry detergent of your choice!

NO! Don't ever wash your lucky cloth! The last time I washed mine, the television show "Ghost Whisperer" started a new season! No human being should ever be subjected to that show, it's just plain wrong.

I'm working on Swordfight again! Come tell me what you think!

Tie it around an actual piece of pepperoni. Then you don't need to worry about it smelling like pepperoni when it shouldn't.
