Well debating with GJ never worked for me. I tried. He never replied to my last email.

Which side would you be on? Either way I'm interested, as long as General Jackson is willing to actually debate as opposed to ignoring me and sepp.

Y'know what? Only getting around 5 hours sleep after taking a five-mile hike and run yesterday probably wasn't the wisest thing to do.

A memory test. A car i seen recently, and something older merged in my head, and this came out.

Pencil outlined, ink crosshatched, PS style and smudge removal.

All in all ehh, not a good sign on the memory side of things

Holy cow, you guys are actually discussing an actual topic!

Well, I got a new cell phone. It's got a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, so I'm really happy. It's also got a camera, which is awesome.

Dec 8 - Jan 19. If I can figure out this Maya/DBPro issue, it will be six weeks well spent. Otherwise, it will be six weeks of being disappointed.

On a related note, has anyone gotten a free program that can export animated .x files that will run in DBPro? I know there were issues with Blender a while back, but I haven't been following it since I moved to Maya.

I'm a creationist to the extent of "What was there before the big bang?" However, there's quite a bit I don't agree with evolution about, but aren't for discussion here due to the AUP.

Numbers mean nothing in a debate. You can't even draw battle lines until you've heard from everyone else.

Well yes, strong arguments and open minds win debates, not numbers. If everyone is willing to remain open minded and respectful...I mean I'd hate to think that by offering an email discussion would mean people start view-bashing or trying to claim victory. The reason I asked GJ in the first place was not to try and trample on his views, but to offer a stance for our side of the argument in a debate format so that he's able to understand that the argument on the other side is more reasonable (a case of showing rather than telling). It's something we can't do on the forums and I'd hate to think of him to be misinformed about the arguments he's laughing about.

No because if I download it I do buy it as soon as I have money. Or whatever other reason is no longer around.
For example, The Fall Of Troy's album was leaked weeks before release. I downloaded it, but by the end of the day had pre-ordered it as well.

CoffeeCoder some of that's wrong. For one thing, why are all the l's represented by 1's. Secondly full stops are in the wrong place mate. And yes I did consider turning my monitor upside down after I read that bit. But my first thought had actually been to try doing a handstand. Which would have been amusing if unsuccesful.

EDIT: Darn you CC my lengthy explanation slowed my points collectage. I realised part way through and took to frantically typing to complete my intended message, but was ultimately disappointed by failure.

If something got in and mucked up your display and made it all upside down-y?

Could also be useful if you had the laptop upside down or were standing on your head and couldn't figure out how to fix it manually...

My? Is 7. $30 student version.

I'm such a cheapskate. The only software I've spent any serious money on is Maya/3dsMax/Mudbox/MotionBuilder/SketchbookPro. Which was also a student version.
