As in FPSC-ish waypoints? They are points on a path walked by an AI character. Tells them where to go and such.

Or in Half-Life 2, watching the special comment bubble things in-game will tell you they use a waypoint web of sorts, with each point notifying a possible cover point from enemy fire. Neato stuff.

Probably just a set of coordinates in a script, I imagine. I'm just starting to write the scripting parser for my game, but I keep finding things that would be useful....

Got DBPro -> Need Sparky's
Wanted to incorporate physics -> Got Newton
Wanted to pass an array to the script loading function -> Needed IanM's Utility pack

Now I have to learn how to use them and I'll be good to go.

Yeah, I've got to learn how to use Sparky's. Perhaps I'll do that before I research waypoints.

If anyone here has used IanM's utilities, I just wanted to make sure I'm using this correctly. The Attributes argument will be an array pointer from GET ARRAYPTR, it seems to compile fine so far.

I'm so freaking excited. I have rigid body physics and character controllers working perfectly in my physics plugin "XenoPhysics" which wraps Havok. The character controllers integrate amazingly and support native ability to jump and crouch with simple commands I love itttttt

As far as I can see, there are two context specific ways of dealing with this situation.
1) Battle rap,
2) Crazy ghetto dance-off.
It all depends whether your talents lie in modern urban poetry, or whether you are secretly a god on the tiles. You must let them know, however, this sleight will not go unpunished. If that means you gots to bust some crazy b-boy combo on they ass, so be it.

These resources may help you in your chosen path.
1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBx-1mPNmzw This is something to really aspire to
2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbchXH-n_XU (could have sworn he said he was a teacher of moomin at first - I do like the serious approach to the chicken dance though)

Thanks HC - I spend my time well...

I did great today though at uni.

First I realised 20 minutes before the coursework was due in that the reason I'd spent 6 hours on a question and been unable to make any progress was that the GCSE-level maths I had done at the start to check my program against was actually wrong. Took me 20 minutes to do that entire question, write it up, and submit the coursework, which was depressing when I think about how much time I wasted - I deleted the entire program and started from scratch about 15 times in total...

Secondly, I fell asleep in my tutorial. There are 5 people in my tutorial, plus the lecturer. It's very orientated on the students leading the discussion while the lecturer basically observes. And he observed me fall asleep. Three or four times. And the last time start snoring so loudly that everyone had to stop what they were doing and wake me up so they could continue.

I'm proud of all my achievements.

You heard this version?
Quote: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3og8GaFW3ns"

Rather too Patton free for my liking, and the levels are a bit dodge on this video (not so bad through big speakers but the volume kind of fluctuates loads on little ones).

It was much better than I expected - was talking to a mate who played bass in one of my old bands, and he had a drum'n'bass band whose keyboardist was somehow involved with the remix - so when me bassist said "look what my keyboardist in one of my other bands worked on" I thought it would be alright but not that good. I was both surprised and excited. There was a little impromptu raving going on, I'm not going to lie.

I had a listen to a song or two on the Wicked Electro channel. They seemed alright but not exactly my cup of tea. Decent youtube channel though is Inspector Dubplate's - he's always got decent new tunes straight from Borgore and Tomba and Downlink and - loads of people really. http://www.youtube.com/user/inspectordubplate?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/4/tha5f6n88t4 Love some of this stuff.

Good call. Love tool. They're the reason I started playing bass. To be fair, I still don't play much bass. I can only play 6 songs.

Tool:
Schism
Vicarious
The Pot
Girls Aloud - Love Machine
Britney Spears - Hit Me Baby One More Time
The Mario Underworld Theme

I think it's a good selection. For most people I can play something like Schism, but if it's a metalhead/Tool fan type then I can play girls aloud. Can always annoy someone... Need to diversify though because I'm sure there are some people who wouldn't dislike any of those songs who I really should be irritating at the same time...

Yeah I play piano & guitar as well - love piano. Haven't been able to play it since I got to uni though - in fact I've had limited access for a much longer time - but I should be getting a weighted keyboard that I'll be able to stick on my desk... So excited about that.
