I just found Google's coolest feature, no more searching for obscure university websites

And here are some more fun search terms:
((3*x/2)*4)^2 + y^4
sin(x)+cos(y)

I wonder who will create the Posting Competition replacement should this one be locked.

We should figure out what a hypothetical replacement Posting Competition could be called. Posting Competition v2 is simply too boring.

Because if they think that then they're obviously mentally ill or at least have psychological issues that need to be resolved.

Never has there been a child born who wishes to kill him/herself the moment they start breathing. There's always a tipping point. The biological fact is that living systems want to live, not kill themselves.

In my whole life, I have never seen the death of a celebrity affect so many people as much as the death of Robin Williams has. That seems to be how much he was loved by the world - myself included.

I will admit, I feel like I've lost a friend, which is so weird because I never personally knew him (and probably never would have even met him, let alone become a friend). But I grew up watching his movies, and always loved his work, and he was always so funny and genuine. The world has lost a truly remarkable man, indeed.

The problem is that ^ isn't HTTP safe. Change it to %5E or use a HTTP encoder (such as http://www.url-encode-decode.com/)

So thanks to Green Gandalf's thread, I've started replaying Oblivion on my PS3.

I have already started attempting to join the Mages Guild, I forgot how tedious it is to do all of the recommendation quests. The first (and only) one I've done so far is the "Fingers of the Mountain" quest, which I don't think I really ever completed because I didn't want to have to go through Ayleid Ruins to find a Welkynd Stone so that I can absorb power from that one column that's different from the rest at Cloud Top... but this time I think I will!

I'm still only at level 1 and have only 72 pieces of gold to my name, but if memory serves right there's a glitch I can use to duplicate items in my inventory to sell for ridiculous amounts of money... I have to try to figure it out!

Honey? Where are my.... paaaaaaants?

---------------------

Been playing BF4 this week on Origin Game Time (brilliant idea, EA, for once a good plan). It's a really cool game, but... has a lot of issues. BF3, for instance, has long load times. BF4 has insane load times. I don't particularly like (but also don't strongly dislike) the new slower sprinting animation that takes a while to warm up - first saw it in Hardline and wasn't impressed. You get used to it though.

And then there's the connection issues... OH the horror. I've spent so much time just reconnecting because BF4 kicked me for no reason.... and then being unable to reconnect. The DDOS attacks. The total server crashes. The framerate lag spikes due to the destruction not being removed properly. The server browser that doesn't show most of the running servers unless you refresh multiple times.

But it has its good points too. The kills are more satisfying. The guns feel heavier. The maps are more interesting and OH MY the destruction! It's like Bed Companion 2 all over again, but BETTER. Hardcore is awesome and popular. The guns have some equipment (lasers, bipods, RDS, etc.) from the get-go instead of being purely ironsight. The Battlepacks are a cool idea and work well. The portrait images are better. The awesome leaderboards (where I was in Division 1 for Accuracy until yesterday). The verticality for sniping!

I would spend the money and own the thing if only... if only it would just WORK.

Haha You haven't heard that before? When people began to mod BFBC2 they renamed it Battlefold Bed Companion 2 so as not to attract unwanted attention from the devs
