I hate to say it, but what someone may consider gold, you may consider a lame idea. If somebody has a lame idea or it's not fleshed out to the full extent, how is it our right to lock it? Off topic posts will always be locked, and looking in that forum I see many locked threads--- some just a few days old. That's proof enough that the mods are keeping their eyes on things in there.

Besides if we didn't have idiotic posts we wouldn't have a regular source of entertainment...

I think with those posts, someone giving them a point in the right direction might be essential rather than shutting them out because they're eager and their ideas are basic - I mean we have the game design theory for people to put and develop their ideas there - no matter how primitive they may be, that's where somebody with more knowledge on game design comes to the rescue - like we get some very primitive/basic 3d models and we provide criticisms on them to help them improve their models.

Or at least, that's how I see it.

The last board that descended into pure n00bism got removed (Team Requests), I have a feeling that if the game design board gets any worse, it might go the same way, especially as it's not really a crucial one. On that note, still no audio board

I like how you put it as 'giving something back' rather then a privalige.;p

And from the sky, Jeku comes crashing down through your ceiling and sets everything on fire with his fire beam. Then, after snapping the mod signal, grabs your computer and flies away shouting,

"To TGC, and beyond!"

Sure, but my Xbox has been dead since July 30th. I'm still waiting for a box to return it, so it will be a long time before I get it back repaired!
