So here I am again after a long time and I made a new model for you

First I wanted to pack all my new models in Killer&Slaughter Machines Pack. But I haven't had enough time to make all of them (over 20 are planned), so I was only able to make this one. Now I will release it separately to give you an impression of the model and texture quality.

This model is a robotic arm saw (I named it Meatsaw), has got 9 animations and one 1024x1024 texture (including Bump texture). As always, the model was made in Milkshape and the texture in Photoshop. Unfortunately, I am having some problems on making its AI scripts, so these are not included
It is free for commercial and non-commercial use.

Anyway, I hope you like it
Enjoy!

I made the texture 1024x1024 instead of 512x512 and made it sharper. The model has got more polys than the old ones and I didn't link the different parts together like I did with my Robot Claw model. Unfortunately, I can't fix that the player can walk through the arm part.

I keep giving the community more free FPSC stuff

May fit in a slaughterhouse level like in Butters' Meat game.

The animations are not very good. But I can send you the MS3D file if you want/need to reanimate it.

C&C are still welcome
BTW: PCF Productions gets PigSwarm Productions!

I'm using Milkshape3D for Modelling, Photoshop for Texturing and EntityMaker to import the files into FPSC. And thanks that you like it.

Here are some scripts for the Meatsaw model. I made them in about 5 minutes, so they might not work (couldn't test them because my FPSC MapEditor prog has crashed and won't work unless I restart my PC, and I don't want to do that now)...

Some short descriptions (4 scripts, ZIP file)
meatsaw1.fpi : plays saw animation 4 when player is near
meatsaw2.fpi : full rotation animation when player is near
meatsaw3.fpi : plays saw animation 6 when player is near
meatsaw4.fpi : plays destroy animation 8 when health = 0

meatsaw4.fpi may not work at all. I still don't know/understand all animation commands and those are badly described in the manual

Anyway, I hope they work
Enjoy!

I've just tested that. Great model! Thanks!

OK, here's a request for that file Shall I send you my e-mail address?

Btw, I decided to try Ms3d today (I've read some tuts) - modeled a simple animation (works perfect in ms3d), but when I export it to FPSC (with a simple custom script - :state=0:animate=1) it doesn't work.
I use DirectX (JT) exporter:
DirectX Scin and Bones - S&B Templates
Position scaling - 1
Animation Time Factor - 1
[x] Loop animations
[x] Spline Positions
[x] Spline Rotations

Is there anything I'm missing?

I think I found the problem - it's not Milkshape, but Entity Maker.
It puts
;Animationinfo
animmax = 1
anim0 = 0,30

instead of

;Animationinfo
animmax = 2
anim0 = 0,0
anim1 = 0,30

in the *.fpe file

I'll leave my previous post, just in case someone else has a similar problem.

Cheers!

@pigs can fly, I've solved that, but Thanks a lot for the support! I will e-mail you if I have any problems with my future models.

The only problem I have now is with UV Mapper. You may have a look here if you want:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=117358&b=21

I'm going out for a while now and will be very happy to find any response later from someone who has experience with UV Mapper
