OK, so it's out, the first set of orders have been sent.

Please post feedback here.
If you haven't purchased, please don't post here, unless it's really important!

(I'm very worried about the installer getting the directory right...haven't ever used an installer before for one of my things, so if it all goes wrong, I'm right here, ready to fix it tonight!)

Butters,

Looks like it installs properly and it works a treat, even better than the videos. Can't play with it much tonight, but I will tomorow for sure. Some of this is going in my PGP comp game.

Thanks again,

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Hi Butter fingers ..in your manual it said..(The above cutter types feature many variations, with are contained in separate directories in your
FPSC segment library. These variations fall into 3 over-arching categories : Standard , Destructible
and Scenery.) But when I went to the FPSC segment library look for the Standard, Scenery and Destructible...it was not there
please advise. Thanks.

Cheers,
Tanya.

there is a folder called buttercutter in your segment library.

inside this are all the variations:
Breakable_wood
Breakable_plaster
Pillars
Regular holes
etc

now, those (above) variations will either be Standard, Destructible or scenery... gettit?

Excellent work Butter fingers... This is simply amazing... I have to say I have had more fun playing with this than any other thing I have purchased for FPSC...

Everything has worked perfectly so far...

Thanks for all the effort you put into this...

Installed perfectly and just had a quick play and it's amazing! Now I can put secret sections into my game! Well done, definitely worth the asking price, especially when I saw this:

@ Butters:

I think you should release a demo segment that falls apart when you shoot it, because I would like to see if lighting would affect it before I buy.

Butters,
If you get the chance can you send me the updated version of Buttercutters? And did you get the stuff I sent you that you asked for?
I had technical difficulties and haven't been on my computer since early Wednesday morning so I am still trying to catch up...
If you need me to send you that stuff again just let me know.
Once again thanks for everything.

If I were you I'd at least download the free version of Phoenix, if not buy it or Vishnu, cause FPS Pack does pretty much squat to protect your files.

Yeah, i should for now. However, i find the Phoenix thing to be annoying, only because it disables ctrl-alt-delete, so its impossible to exit if the game freezes.

This is not correct. After reading your post, I ran a PGP encrypted game, and had no problem at anytime using CTRL+ALT+DEL to pull up the task manager, at will. Exiting the game is as easy as a mouseclick.

PGP does not disable the CTRL+ALT+DEL function.

If you are experiencing game freezes or system locks, there is some other culprit. It is not Phoenix Game Protection.

Thanks,

Seth Black

Seth Black is correct. Depending on the version of PGPS. I orginally had keyhooks block key combos, but not since v14 or so. The current version is v20. Task Manager is fully accessible while using Phoenix.

Back on topic now.

This Butter Cutter is really fantastic .. I've just won it in the PGP Phoenix-Sentry Contest .. Thanks to DarkFact

I've got my hand on this very helpful tool ... I wished to have a tool like this before completing my game but .. I am able now to enhance all my work using this fantastic tool.

It is really worth.

@Butter fingers
I've had a texturing problem with one of the entities when it is broken It looses its texture.

Another question did you get my mail regarding the LyteFX copy ?

You should use this It's a very nice tool

I didn't use it on X10 still didn't have a VGA Card supporting FPSC10

This texturing problem occured on normal FPSC

I didn't say that the butter cutter is not a great product .. for sure It's an awesome product

I'm trying to contact Butter fingers to get my LyteFX .. but no success I sent two mails didn't get a reply till now

he might have some problem with his PC ...

Sorry mate.

I've been around a little. I had a family berevement.

I'll look into getting you LYTE FX very soon.

I'm afraid I have no intention of getting X10 until the new year, so I will be unable to answer any questions about it's compatibility.

Some more info about this texturing problem would be useful, a screen shot or a video would be ideal.

Best

Bereavement is the period of grief and mourning after a death. When you grieve, it's part of the normal process of reacting to a loss. You may experience grief as a mental, physical, social or emotional reaction. Mental reactions can include anger, guilt, anxiety, sadness and despair. Physical reactions can include sleeping problems, changes in appetite, physical problems or illness.

I must say... It rules!! They work great and looks great. the only problem I found was with the destructible wall that not allways was destrucible. But that doesnt matters. Thank you for making this great program/modelpack or whatever it is. Good work.
