The only problem with changing character speed is this, If you put it 300 you move fast but the floor makes the sound x3 worst >,<

i also need a two-speed player script by, say, hitting a key in the KB i go at half speed. At present I can change the speed only with the start marker once for the game. To make a stealth type game i would need to approach the enemy in a stealth way, slow so as not to make noise and then resume the normal speed.
Is there a possibility?
Thank you

Someone with the source code will have to fine the variable for the players speed and see if it is accessible through the fpi language. I have tried a few common names like playerspeed, plrspeed, etc but with no results. If it is accessible, I don't know the variable name.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

go to butterfinger's website and download empty's mod and sensei ai. This has settings and more variables that could help you. I think

@Hybrid:

sensei is not even close to required for this, and empty's mod cannot change player speed.

If someone wants to go into the source code, simply do a search for this variable and figure it out:

tcameraspeed#

-OR-

playerspeedratio#
