Apparantly this woman rotates anti-clockwise for most people, I see her rotate clockwise - so post what way she turns for you just so I know it's legit, personally I can't figure out how she could appear to turn any other way!.

I can shift pretty much at will by focusing on her foot, although my first reaction was anti-clockwise.

I doubt this is a good method for defining which side of your brain you prefer. Also the functions listed is mixed in most people.

For example there are people who uses feeling but are detail oriented and vice versa. If you know a little about Meyers-Briggs or Keirsays theories then you know those lists doesn't really reflect the reality.

Hah. Cool. Yeah, I can make her not rotate at all (just move leg left to right etc) if I concentrate.

Seen this one? Look at faces from seat in front of computer then get up and move about 12 foot back and the faces swap. Probably something to do with overlap between your eyes, but is cool none the less.

Yeah, although it seemed to work better on my email where the images are a bit smaller. Hmmm. Must be resolution dependant and I'm at 1600x1200. Probably worth mucking around with.

Oh come to think of it then, lotsofsmoke, try making the piccies smaller perhaps?. Just tried with IE7 at 75% and was a fair bit better.

Anyone got that old one of a black and white photo that becomes full colour for a while until your concentration breaks and it flips back to B&W? Good stuff that one.

I scaled it to 30%, though it depends on your resolution. Just experiment.

Well my room is 18 feet long, but my computer is in the middle of the room so i could only back off about 8 feet. Still worked to an extent though.

You have to look at the leg and just make yourself think it's going the other way, then you won't be able to see it going clockwise at all.

Yeah, I thought that. But after a bit suddenly it starts going anticlockwise. I was going to download the GIF to check each frame just incase is a fraud, but after a while I could "control" her and make it go either way when I wanted, and even not rotate at all.

Unless it is a very clever method of making you think that. You know a bit like Deja Vu. So you think you wanted to go anti-clockwise, but only because a split second before the other side of your brain saw it happen. Could be. Good if someone checked the frames as I am now annoyingly busy...

hmmm, i don't trust that test very much. If that score is correct, shouldn't i in theory get the "dancer" to move anti-clockwise?

Edit: It's interesting though, the smiliar test i took on facebook, i got 53% right and 47% left.

i dont really trust either of the tests
but for my sake it seams both tests go hand in hand with each other, both saying that i use my right side more

and also, me being in a band also shows in more Right, and i throw and right left handed but i bat in cricket right handed....????

I saw her going clock-wise first for the longest time, I got her to shift to anti, but couldn't get her to shift back for a time, now she's going clockwise again, LOL.

Also took that quiz and got

57% right
43% left

I'd say it's pretty accurate aside from the fact that I can't really use my left hand for much of anything.

clockwise first, then as I read some of the text she seemed to flip directions to anti-clockwise. this happened a couple of times. All I can say really is FLIP THE NORMALS

i dont think the spinning test proves it, because you can change the direction...

but for the test one, i got 50-50, which is what i expected

You can turn it because you can still use the other half of your brain. However, you will in theory see it spinning clockwise first if you are right brained as your dominant side of the brain analyzes it first.

I am strong using a mix of functions from both lists.

Again, dividing people in two like this isn't a perfect science. Both Meyers-Briggs' and Keirsey's systems devide people into 16 personalty types and these usually describes people very accurate. MBTI is the most well known personality type test in the world (and quite expensive to take).

On the right, just above the arch is a face; directly opposite it on the left side is another face, but very faint. There is also an outline of another face slightly to the right of it. I can see what DA can see, but I can't see an octopus, a midget with wings, a dragon, or the titanic (or the tornado)

don't forget the weeping willow tree in the background
These are cool, The girl seemed to be turning anti-clockwise to me and I stared at it hard and *pop* she changed direction, but what's weird is now if I load it up again I still see her turning clockwise
I find looking at the standing foot is the easiest way to flip it.
Anyone else notice the nipples?
