What are you talking about? Disney weekends sound awesome. And Beauty and the Beast and Mulan are great films!!!

Hence my Simba avatar a little while back.

Really? I best watch all of the Disney movies in Swedish...though I'd have to learn the bloody language first.

Seppuku:
Lion King is the only movie I prefer in Swedish. The originals often have better voices and of course the lip sync is better. It's kinda like watching anime dubbed to English, horrible! That is, not with Lion King

Yeah watching Asian (or any foreign) movies dubbed in English is painful, as I watched Hero and Ong Bak with my family, my Mum hates subtitles, so we had to watch them dubbed...ruined the movies I think. With Ong Bak it sounded too English - I could actually imagine the girl sitting in a book club with a cup of tea discussing the works of Jane Austen...Despite being an arse kicking motorcycle chick.

The worst part about dubbed anime is that everybody sound so flat. Another horrible thing is all the Japanese names that are pronounced so totally wrong. Like, they where talking about the new Japanese character in Guitar Hero 3 on Star Power, whose name is Midori (meaning green in Japanese) and they pronounce her like me-dou-ree (or something) which is miles away from correct. Same with dubbed Naruto.

Well, it's better then the anime dubbed to Swedish during the 80s where only stupid 1 guy did all the voices

It's kind of disguised and slightly changed, but it's actually the plot from Hamlet.

Yes, slightly changed, as the original characters were kiwis, not lions.

Haven't seen it, but I think it's not worse than German... Especially, when you realise it's the same team from Yu-Gi-Oh & Pokemon...

Make games, not war.

I have no idea what that sounds like, but considering I personally don't like the sound of the German language I probably couldn't stand watching it anyway

I wonder if Naruto have been dubbed to Swedish yet. We pronounce our letters similar to the Japanese but we don't really have the same speed and rythm. I've not seen Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon in Japanese nor have I seen much of those in Swedish so I have no idea what it sounds like
