Ok so I had an interesting idea. How about some fun little awards for TGC members. So below is a list of catagories. You can nominate 1 person for each (excluding the last which is 2 people). Dont nominate yourself as thats no fun. Post nominations here or e-mail them to my email (listed on the little button thing below). Ok so lets see how this turns out. The nominations end 10/31/07. Voteing starts 11/1/07. Best of luck to you guys.

Oooh, another viral members thread!!!

I'll post a list when I wake up. tha_rami will be on it, as well as Serdjo3D.

Random Fact: I made that "Where you don't need pants to be awesome" banner. Therefore, blue cheese tastes bad, and I need to post more in geek culture.

You guys are cruel with the love-in partners...anybody who has read my sig will know I love Nancy DrewG and nobody else as my heart can only belong to one person.

Well I guess I should thank you for nominations. From reading the title of the thread I thought it would be something daft...I was right, but not the bad kind of daft. I don't think we need a 'TGC Awards' but nevertheless it's a bit of fun and immediately the mockeries set in. (Just hope nobody gets an ego out of this...)

May as well give it a shot, for a laugh. (But I'll do it seriously)

I found it funny, I've been waiting for another hot headed insulting thread to come along, either that or something stupid. Though yes it was pretty pointless and the lengths people go to just to annoy amazes me, hence I laugh. (Reminds me the other night me and my friend walked past a chav who coughed an offensive swear word that Vampyre used beginning with 'p' and we just burst out laughing, because it's pathetic.)

Course he was. One moment and massive slagging off from people who have been here 5 minutes in comparison isn't going to change that one. If that ever changed anything then Raven would be crying into his beer every night after the crap he has got over the years.

Oh, and I nominate Raven for everything. Seriously (he never actually proved he wasn't a girl or in love with himself ...). The sheer amount of posts over the years I think puts him in for every catagory Even though I can't actually remember him from before 2003. But thats a big compliment as I pretty much remember hardly anyone here before 2005 Memory like a goldfish you know.

Cheers

Future Mod? I don't care. Not Seppuku, though, that'll give him responsibilities and that's bad for both the level of humor as for new members who meet him while drunk.

Haha, cheers Keith - tha_rami, don't worry I won't stop being me if I suddenly gain responsibility - I'll just have to be more careful of not offending people if that thing ever happened...Proof that I can be responsible and stupid can be found on the Ozark Games forums, I managed to behave there and wasn't tempted when Rich Davey made a post to delete him at all for a laugh...well I was a little, but I found a bag of restrain on the market and it's done me a good deal.

Anyway, I think you'd make a good mod as well as the likes of Gil Galvanti, Cash Curtis, Bizar Guy, Green Gandalf and the rest of them.

edit:

Seppuku would also have to cut all his ties with me. I'm bad influence.

It's nice to see people actually think i'm funny though. Haha, i didn't expect that at all. I'm about as funny as WW2, but it seems people confuse insanity with comedy and that's probably were the "problem" lies. I'm a self-admitted crazy person, not comedian! There's a big difference. Just ask Seppuku the self-admitted fish (no really, he did admit to that).

Nah man, you've been so active here that you have become as known as a random moderately-posting early 2006 member. Keep it on and you'll rival the "mighty" Grandma (in such case, i will have to silence you).

Haha, indeed - that was our very first MSN convo, well...you admitted too remember, said you went down to the mutation hole and everything...

Yes perhaps it is a mix of between insanity and humour, though insanity can be quite amusing.

I love Nancy DrewG, but not insert brain here

I suspect you misunderstood me, so i'll rephrase.

You are as known here (in geek culture atleast) as a random member who joined in early 2006, posting moderatly quantities of posts. I never said you were that person, only as known (popular or unpopular) as "him".

Best Male Poster
Dazzag, and he'd also win the "lifestyle you'd most like to emulate" award if there was one, hehe.

Best Female Poster
Tinkergirl, although admittedly she's the only female that immediately comes to mind from TGC. Mrs. Batvink also comes to mind, but she doesn't post often. What happened to Tinkergirl anyway?

Best Individual Post
Cash Curtis had a string of really great posts in the threads related to Eternal Equinox... he had some really good advice and helpful comments, so I'd have to go with some of his posts.

Worst Individual Post
The post wherein Rami's nickname, Tha_Rabi, was created. Worst... nickname... ever...

Best Thread
2007 Text Adventure Competition, of course

Worst Thread
Serdjo3D

Most Consistently High-Quality Poster
Cash Curtis

Most Consisently Off-Topic Poster
Can I vote for myself? I trail off all too often

Most Consistently Funny Poster
A toss-up between Benjamin and the cat formerly known as Megaton, they've both made me literally laugh out loud

Most Argumentative Poster
Raven. I can't think of a single post where he said "I agree with that!"

Least Intelligible Poster
Serdjo3D. I hate book.

Best Signature
"Computers are useless, they can only give you answers." - Dave J

Best Avatar
Indi. Simply hypnotic. It was like a TV show, lol.

Forum Love-in Partners
Raven and Jeku, with low-fat butter.

Best Mod
Jess T. He never argues with anyone, he's always helpful, and we've had some really cool ideas come out of his posts and threads. I still wish my time constraints hadn't killed off Live Pacman

Future Mod
Agent Dink get's my vote, and not because he's a part of MISoft, either, before someone suggests that. I genuinely think he has the right level of patience, the right attitude, and the proper level of AUP- respect for the job.
