Hey all......
I have created a Bioshock based character. (Bioshock Dude)
This was basically a practise for me...in both, modeling and texturing.

The polycount of this model is: 1126.
Texture size is: 1024x1024.

Both created by me.
And free to use for you.

This is my first free character model.
And i know for sure that i would create more for free.

Hope you have fun with it!

And also license is included.
free for (non-)commercial games
Not claim as own.
Dont sell as part of a model pack or alone.
Basically the basic stuff...
But if you want to know more, than i should check the LICENSE file
that is included.

Screenies that are required!

The download is attached and ready for download.

Happy game making!

---EDIT---
New download, with different FPE's.
Also...I see over the 400 views...and only a few of them posted.
I am not angry....but for the people that downloaded...
it would be nice if they gave a feedback.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

---EDIT---
Veron.
Sorry man...was making my post when you made yours.
Thanks man! Glad you liked it!
And hope you can make a good use out of it.

Everyone.
Also i made some new FPE's....where i have scaled them a bit
bigger.
And it looks quite fun...its like a big boss.

Anyway, if you could be so kind to give some feedback
ideas...comments.
And if you downloaded it and found some good use for it..
Then could you be so kind to post in this thread.

Cheers,

Cheese Cake,

First, it's an excellent model and a great contibution. I'm a little confused by the term "(non-)commercial games". Does that mean both commercial and non-commercial as you full license seems to state?

Thanks.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Looks good, did you rig him with stock anims?

Quote: "But i dont do custim animations..."

Would work great with a pounding melee style animation, possible you could rig it with the bond1 zombie biped, which has additional pound and death frames.
I cant remember exactly but I think the original walk and run anims are still the same in that file,he just added more frames to the end of it,so you wouldn't have to use his dragging walk frames, which wouldn't look right with this guy.

Wow, Cheese cake I've seen your models and this is definitely the best one!
I've just tested it (works with all the scripts and weapons) and I can say, this is the best FPSC character I've seen since I joined the forums!

In your license, you mention that you can use it in '(non-)commercial games', does that mean we can only use it in non-commercial games?

Also, can I use this model in a DarkBASIC game?

Thanks for the great model,
-Dan

Thanks guys!
Glad you all liked it.
And hope you make it of a good use.

xplosys & da power pwnerer.
Its free for (non-) or commercial games.

rolfy.
Its the bond1's animation, the surgeon one.
Yeah it has some more frames....forgot to delete
the stock ones that goes with it.

Also for anyone that doesnt own MP4, could you post it here
(if you downloaded it)
Then (i thought it was possible) i can make a compiled version of:
Model (bioshock-dude), textures, script, several FPE's....

BIG Viking Games.
Quote: "But if I use it Bioshock will surely sue me "

Huh?!?....you do realise that this model is my own...
Its not ripped or anything...its just based on a model. Right?!?

TeMpLaR1.
Quote: "very nice cheese cake, do you mind if I put it on FPS-Files?"

Sure.

da power pwnerer.
Quote: "Also, can I use this model in a DarkBASIC game?"

Yep of course.

Hope i have answered some questions.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

I know its your model and nothing is copied from Bioshock.
Then thing is that I am making a game that some people says the idea and everything is copied from Bioshock, wich not is the case, but by adding your character to the game could be to much i think

Wow BIG THANK YOU I am working on a few personal scifi maps and would be great to use with a few friends to play with and have a few chuckles seeing him and master chief on the same map. Thank you for such a great contribution..... Now all I need is an unreal character and my buddies will freak out...

Very nice character Cheese Cake , impressive texture that you have made.
And you're free release is very generous , a lot of people selling stuff this days.
Maybe you could create a illuminate map for his helm , let the glass of the helm glow.

Best ,

Oleg.

Now I've just had a chance to play with it, very nice indeed! And for those wanting it, here's a soundset for the 'dude'. Just unzip it and place it in "...Files\audiobank\voices", then edit the BioShock Dude's properties and where it says 'soundset' (right at the bottom) put "BioShockDude".

It's great dude. Beautifully rigged, and textured, my only crit would be the size of his head. It looks a little small for the rest of him! It'd be so cool to have our 2 daddies having a fight (check the sig)
