We squeezed a cool new feature into X10 just at the very last minute. It's now possible to easily select a bitmap and have it auto converted into a wall furniture item. It can then be placed on walls, floors or ceilings.

The attached pic shows me selecting an image from my hard disk.

LOL

So, I guess this means that it makes an entity rather than re-texturing the wall.
Very Nice
Thanks

I think other image formats such as jpg, gif, png, etc would be nice. You can maybe add that in new updates.

Does this feature create a 2D plane, or is the image 3D?

Look at the pics, they leave a little shadow behind them.

3D! You can even set the depth of them.

It might be better if they can be 2D because 3D won't allow the image to be transparent.

Why? Apply an alpha map, and you can still have transparency.

Thanks Rick! That's pretty sick.

Er...who's Jed McKenna [in your sig]? I went to the site, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at.

Yes but it will not be flat on the wall. And there may even be a shadow...
