Perhaps they had tested the device earlier

Anyway, it's probably one of my favorite games I've ever played, to be honest.

I only wish it lasted longer, hopefully they'll develop the idea into a full game. I thought the ending was brilliant, really funny, and that cake looked delicious!.

personally i think the short game was good because if it would be any longer, it would become more annoying.

But a weird/funny storyline and the things the computer says really made the game without them it would be kinda boring after a while.

Also id anyone got too attached to the companion cube? my friends wasted half a hour trying to figure out ow to keep the companion cube. For some reason to me it was just like any other cube and i had no problem killing it.

also why is the computer obsessed with cake?

In my "Games for Windows" magazine, they talked to Valve who said that they got tons of emails asking how they could manage to end the game without destroying the cube!

Anyways, I loved the game, especially the ending.

I bet there is a way to do it... Dunno though... maybe there's a way to grab another cube and bring it with you to trick the incinerator?

YAY! Portal. Screwed up, wiered as hell and funny... what more can you ask of an game?

And about that companion cube: I remember finding places where the previus test subjects (I wooooonder what happend to them. Not like that computer killed them, it would neeeever do that) had put an image of the companion cube on the head of an girl in girl-images that was pasted to the walls...

Lol. Remember the boss to. Those eyes where funny!

Darknes, you haunt me. If I give in, I would be an monster beyond imagining. Light, you guide me. Thanks to you, I see past the nothingness. Life, I choose to live in the light.

If you get it through steam it's $20 on it's own.

That's not really a remix of the last song--- doesn't have the melody or anything in there. Seems like a techno song with a bunch of the robot's spoken dialog that played throughout the game.

I hadn't even heard of it until I played Portal:The flash version on Addicting games...It looks kinda the same, but in 2d with bad graphics. Still fun though.
