I don't know what you guys are talking about, me and Butters were talking about buying a new sports car. It invokes jealousy and anger amongst your peers and, uhh.... you need to be a grown up to afford one. And every time I take out the garbage... I... get... a sports car? That'll do

btw, completely unrelated conversation that has nothing to do with anything:

INH, Pod 9's download works again. The filefront link is fixed. It dropped Pod 9 but kept EE up, can't figure out why. Anyway, we'll have a mirror up later today at some point as well .

Okay, back to discussing the grownuptime function

I can only speak english. That's 'cause our foreign language classes at school realllllly suck. We learn how to count to ten then move onto a new language.

Personally supprised at how often chinese comes up (Given that it's supposedly the most difficult language to read)

Me personally? I barely speak english as is, and my mastery of Spanish and Japanese ain't much to boast on either.

Therefore, I have determined the only language I truely understand, is Math.

1 + 2 = 11 QED

Ohhh, I'm bored... why did I even come back to these forums?

Its not who you are or what you've done... its WHY you did it and how far you are willing to go.
If you fear speaking for yourself, make use the words of others while discovering your own voice.

I find Chinese symbols/Japanese Kanji is easy to learn, you just need to perceive the symbols - most symbols/letter in language derive from a picture that over the years has been stylize to hell, the letter a for example is a bull's head turned upside down, which derived from the symbol Phonecians used for a bull. Learning their symbols means partly to see around the stylization and see how certain symbols are made up of others symbols - the most obvious being the symbol for 'woods' is the symbol for tree doubled and put side by side and a 'forest' is the tree simple double and ordered as a triangular format. 'Brightness' consists of the moon and sun symbols merged and 'manpower' is man and power.

Well now to help my project I am learning Icelandic and Norwegian so:

Halló! Ég heiti Seppuku. Hvað heitir þú?

God dag! Jeg heter Seppuku. Hva heter du?

Though I'm not going deep into learning them yet, though I'd like to, I just need patterns, grammar and access to the vocabulary to get my uni project underway. So far I've found the Icelandic language course great for grammar - heiti, heitum, heitir, heitið, heita...but I'm having a hard time with pronunciation, but that comes with practice and listening.
