Brad | 22:10 | Prisoner Building A
Brad shot the lock on the door and kicked it down. He looked around with his gun. The room was clear. He was in what seemed to be some sort of tiny office where tabs were kept on prisoner activities. One of the prisoners saw him through a small bullet-proof window and started banging on it. Jackie tried to open the sturdy door, but it was locked shut. Brad searched a bit and finally found the keys to the prisoner door. "Here, try these." He threw them to Jackie. Jackie started to try the keys one-by-one on the door. Brad looked around to see if there was anything else of use...
He grabbed some paper and pens off the desk and put them in his sack. Paper is always a nice thing to have, especially when there isn't very much lying around.
Then, he saw something under the desk. The floor was all concrete, so he expected the whole floor to be solid. But, there were cracks in the floor in the shape of a square. "Could it be a trap-door?" he thought. There was nothing for which he could grab a hold of it with, so he looked around some more. Under the desk was a small red button. He pressed it... The section of the floor where the cracks were slowly opened up, leading down to a basement.
"Wait here, Jackie, I'm going to check this out. If I'm not back within 1 minute, get help." He climbed down the ladder into the basement. The lights had automatically turned on when he had pushed the button. He was in a short corridor, only about 30 feet long, with 2 metal doors on either side. Each door had a very small hole as a window. He peered through one.
There was someone inside! They looked exhausted as if they had been beaten for hours. Brad looked into the next one. A man screamed from inside, "Don't hurt me!!! Please! Not anymore!" Brad tried to calm him down, "I'm not going to hurt you, I'm here to save you!" After checking the other two doors, which seemed empty, he returned to the door with the man who spoke to him. "I'm going to get you out of here, but I need to go get the keys."
Brad climbed back up the ladder. Walter was there, helping Jackie with 7 prisoners. Jackie, I need the keys. You guys aren't going to believe this.
Walter couldn't climb the ladder, so he stayed back with the prisoners. Jackie and Brad went into the basement and unlocked both doors with the guys in them. The one who had appeared exhausted was actually dead.
"Thank you! I don't know of any way in which I can repay you!" said the prisoner.
"Why were you down here?" asked Brad.
"I'm a special forces operative from the U.S. I was captured one month ago when I came upon their camp, hoping to find someone friendly. They've kept me here ever since. I've tried to escape numerous times, so they locked me up here."
"Wow, well, we'll have a lot of questions for you, but we need to get out of here first." Brad said.
