I know that fps creator is not made to make games like timecrisis, silent scope or any of the rail shooters but I was wonderering if ther was a way to simulate that. through locking the player onto freely mooving platform. scripts or even disabaling certain controls (WASD). please help. That is my favorite type of fps (rail shooters) and I would really like to dupliate them.

thanks in advance,
The Silent Ayehika

As far as i know, you could edit the source and remove the keys WASD and jump, witch is quite easy. And then you put a Antigrav Platform with waypoints. There, you got your railshooter =D. Hope i helped.

He used an anti-grav platform from the sci-fi bit, told it to follow waypoints and the player sits on it and "enjoys" the ride while fighting off enemies.

Read the manual, all of it.......

Go to "Mycomputer\C:\Program Files\ The Game Creators\Fps Creator\Docs"

The manual is in there, also the guy who posted the Video link on this thread called nickydude has a great guide in his signature that i recommend to anyone who needs a jump-start in FPSC.

Click on his sig and it'll take you to the Hints and Tips post.

you would also need to stop look view and have the cross hairs move about the screen, also Im not sure if waypoints allow pauses, so you would have to have a script for that if not, I asked the same question about what you are asking way back, Id be very interested in how you get on.

I'm making a really easy to follow tutorial. Although, I don't go into how to make waypoints...
