How can i do this, but make it so it takes 10 health off every second or something.

use the script for the hurt zone. Put it in the entity's Main AI slot.

You know your code sucks when it does what you want before you know what you want.

no no no no no!

the hurtzone script won't work because it only works for zones, therefore, it would require you to walk inside the entity to get hurt......

Sorry coffe grunt, but even walking INSIDE the entity would not hurt the player when using zone oriented commands.

You are correct, however, that utilising the distance of the player to the entity would work very well.

I always thought zones were just large collision zones of some kind that player could enter...
