DEMO VIDEO!!!

i am making a trailer type video for the demo of the game. Its just about done so its gonna be uploaded in about an hour or so. Just FYI, the video recorder program makes the games FPS alot slower than it really is in acual game play. So the video is gonna be a little bit slow
Im using AutoScreenRecorder V2 just so you know. IDK y its slow but if any one else knows why it might be, please tell me so i can fix it.

I'll watch it when it's ready. Take your time. Most screen recorders slow down the game, so it may not be AutoScreenRecorder.

Quote: "Looks good, but ouch! the texture on the sword looks really unrealistic, looks like the one Darimc made, he gave me the texture, I'll see what I can knock up for you. Looking forward to the demo."
ya well he gave it to me a while ago when i first got fpsc. he was making a fantsy game but he quit so he gave it to me. and i didnt feel like fixing the texture.

Quote: "I know, its kinda BLAN but it works for right now. If its ok with you Bobert, id like to change the texture on the sword. I would still give you all the credit of course."
ya u can use the new texture but if u give credit give it to darimc for modeling, errant AI for animating and shadow blade for texturing. is that okay?

well i have alot of things in mind. Im not going to be using anything found on the game creators, its just some other programs i have on my comp. But is goin to turn out pritty good i think. Ive already made some brief demo tracks that I made at the beggining of the game. And they turned out really good.

Nice! I can't wait to play your demo. I won't be able to immediately, because I have a friend coming over after school today, and we are moving my computer across the house. I'll play it when I can, and give you my opinion of it.

Oh my goodness! This is the type of thing that's MMO-worthy, not to mention Commercial worthy.

Very amazing work. I really haven't seen better outdoor scenes than these.

Wow Sethon, Thanks so much for your very kind words. Im really glad you like it. I hope to hear the same reaction when the demo is released.

Im really sorry for the delay on the game. My internet crashed AGAIN and now im forced to be on my labtop. So unfortunatly im so sorry to say this but, im going to need to push the game back another few weeks. I have no idea whats wrong with my comp these days. It'll work some days then wont work the rest. But you can look at it like this, the longer i work on the game, the better it will be.

I will be uploading some new shots later so keep checking in ok.

So sorry you guys. Ill make up for it with the demo I promise.

Hey Shaka. The game looks nice but I think the tavern mabye looks a bit friendly. I think it would be better if it was much smaller and darker. With cold stone walls etc. Just a suggestion.

Ok so I have some good news and some bad news...
Bad news first.

Bad news: I still havent goten my internet running again and my computer is really F'd up. So ive gone to plane B and im going to insert the "A bomb" of all cd's. Its going to restore everything back to its factory settings and remove all programs from the comps hard-drive. But im going to save all my FPSC things to a flash drive and put it back on when my comp is restored.

Good News: Having no internet on my comp has given me some time to re-model and touch up my levels and there looking better than ever. I will be uploading some new shot in a while if you guys care to take a peak.

Sorry again guys

If you'd like some area to post, I've created an area for you on the Gunn3r Games forums for Chronicles of Xavi. You can post multiple threads for different subjects of the game if you'd like.

Tittle, eh?

Anyway, sounds interesting, I know that it's hard to do big, outdoor games.
