You play as Owen Derron,raised by a friendly woodcutter from childhood after your parents were killed by soldiers of the evil Lord Marek.
Swearing revenge for this dark deed you joined the Order of Lewanna a secret agency in the service of the Queen Isibus ruler of Eldora,sworn to protect the realm from the dark forces which constantly harries and attacks the borders of the Land.
Lord Marek has abducted the Queen's youngest cousin, the Lady Kylia,for his evil purpose to destroy the Land once and for all.As he masses his forces and darker beings for the final onslaught he needs the Wakanda (inner magical power) he can only acquire this by performing the ritual of Than during which he will slay Kylia.
Your mission,if you accept it, will be to collect the seven key's of Taru,hidden and guarded by dark creatures,which will gain entrance to Marek's tower,slay the Dark Lord and free the maiden.

Go to www.fpsfree.com and download the clock, if you find the hidden area you will be given a password to open the zip file.
The first person to send me the password by e-mail will recieve a copy of Vishnu donated by s4real.
Do not post the password on here.

@General powell ; What specs is your machine are you using vista ?

It sounds like you using vista and must have full admin rights to use the game.

Should be Data folder.
Data folder must be in same location as eldora.exe.

The readme is not important.

I think you may have things in wrong place,see attached pic.
If you used winrar it may not have created folders and placed files correct paths.

Sorry to hear you having some issues with the game and vishnu protection system please could you give info on your system specs.

Easy way to do this is to type in run dxdiag and you see the info on the first page.

Also could you please tell me what programs are running when you are trying to run the game.

These are located on the taskbar near the clock.

Last thing is this an account on your computer with limited rights.

General I can only guess you are using a comp with administrative rights,if so ask whoever has rights to try running it on their account.
If this isn't the case burn the game to disc and try it on another computer.I dont think there is anything wrong with your download it seems to be an issue with the game folder being extracted.

Rolfy... you never seem to stop amazing me. That game was so original and so you. It reminded me a lot of Morrowind... which is good. I really loved the spell stone idea instead of a bulky sword and bow. The hands were very nice and I loved the Dwarf that sounded all weird. Very nice job rolfy! But on one note... I felt it could have been less empty. I am sure you will do a lot from now to the release though. Nice work once again!!!!

I feel your game is the best fpsc game ive seen but please could u make sure next time there no issues that cant be helped thats down to the engine and come on it was a little empty in those cave sections, next time just make a big empty space for a room and add a toilet.

This just dont feel like a fpsc game so you need to work on that a bit more.

s4real has kindly created a fix for your issue with the game,be aware that this may not work.
This may also fix the 'esc' issue that some folks experience.
Please be aware that you should only download this if you experience any problems running the game.
This is not an update.
This is an unofficial release, use at your own risk as this has not been beta tested or debugged

@Prince of Darkness Vishnu supports vista and there is better support for vista now as vishnu is written in vista.

Rolfy using a custom version of vishnu so the support is even better.

Ah, it did work indeed. It ran odd, as it went flasing every now and then. But it worked.

Nice game, I had like "What will be behind that door?" all the time, But I got killed on the place where 5 wolves kept respawning next to you all the time...

Nice game though, very nice. Oh, one more thing. I didn't get a word of that that guy in the house said. Sounded like a load of mumbling and other odd things to me.

Great work. Very nice pseudo-3D effects, sound and imagery was done very well. Apart from one area i needed to use [c]. As soon as the game started to load, i got the vibe straight away.

I have a question,how many lives are folks getting in game?
Though you will die the first time the werewolves come at you, you should have three lives to make it through,and if you collect all the red spellstones you should have more than enough to finish them all off.

hmm, i think it was the level wolfbane, i opened the door in front of me and walked through the wall and fell down and died, then i got the message "Game Complete" and the credits came... yeah.. i didnt like that..

Is there any way to get the game to run in a higher resolution? My screen's resolution is 1280x1204 at the moment, and Eldora runs in slightly less

when i run Eldora the image that has the two towers on it appears and then my machine crashes..

Wierd! anyone else have this problem?

here are my specs:
AMD athlon 64 fx 3700 (clawhammer)
2 gig ram
512 Nvidia 6800 VC

Marc Steene, as this uses a custom menu there is no way to change screen res at the moment.

RF,does this happen right away?Do you get an error message of any sort?

I don't get an error message at all, it just freezes for a few seconds and then my machine reboots. This is the first game that I have tried to play that has done this..

Could you hold off till s4 comes by he may have an answer to this.
You could try downloading the exe a few posts above and try it maybe yours got corrupted during download.
Remember to back up your old one in case this isn't the problem.
