Hi all,

I've decided to make WW2 models for a game I'm working on and I'll be posting the screens here for you guys to evaluate.

The first screen is a wrecked building, based on the russian buildings that were bombed at that time. On the floor you can see the snow decor i'm making too. I made the decorations in Bryce, and the main model in Anim8or.

Nice, Also You need you're own texture for that building, You cant Use The Concrete texture from Dave, and stephan's core pack, Infact Try This.
Its in .Jpg.

Its By Me, and also I dont need any Credit's.

I'm using the Core Pack textures on purpose, since I want to be able to use its segments with my models, without feeling weird.

Ok, But If you ever need segment's With That texture just ask.

Nice, although imageshack is probably the worst site to upload images. Try allyoucanupload, the pics download in like 2 seconds, rather than 2 minutes.

ImageShack is fine, I just hate their loading times when LOADING the images, and the 10.000 popups they give.

Yes, that's right. I am the only 12 year old that likes Star Trek! My dream is to make games, so i might as well start programming now, it's easier to learn when you are young...

Here's another screen, with a variation on the main mesh, making it a closed building with a small door on the side.

I'm making these models for myself, don't know if I'll release them or not, at least for now.

Another mesh variation. I've been looking at the Call of Duty series and found out the great setting is built on simple mesh variations that add greatly to the credibility of the scenery; so I'm taking lessons from those games.

Don't mind the little red circle on the left side of the screenshot, since it's a face i forgot to uvmap so it's just for I to remember it!

Here's the wrecked building (closed version, ahem, with all walls, but still wrecked) in game, working in X9. The X10 engine is much better looking(the lightmapping looks way better), but now i'm in XP!

And now a very simple model, to add more depth and realism to a WW2 setting, a "block" obstacle like there were in Russia to prevent tanks and other vehicles to pass through a given path.

Doesent look so good.

You may need to UVMap it to get better results than that.

It's correctly uvmapped. The texture is like that, has metal underneath and snow spots all over it.

Doesent look as if it had a UV, why not make the Handle at the top a Rusty Red colour, along with snow spot's and the Bottom of the Main (Forgot what you call them)A little bit grungier.
