DarkBASIC Discussion / Can't get DarkBasic to run.

I have the DarkBasic book, have loaded the software on my machine, but can't run it.

When I attempt to run it, DarkBasic will open, but as soon as I click on the taskbar icon that appears, the resolution of the screen magnifies intensely (everything becomes huge) and I get a timed prompt telling me DarkBasic requested a resolution lower than 1280 X 800. After 20 seconds the prompt disappears and DarkBasic minimizes.

That's where I'm stuck.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
