Hey guys..

I was board this month and got into playing with FPSC again... lol

this game is more of the modern game.

You are Sgt.Bringins and your order in this demo (which is levels 4,5,6) are to kill a X-Russian General named: Alexia Roduskie
who Has captured A doctor named: Dr.Frinchuskie who invented the first (cheap) Nucular War head, Which Roduskie is trying to get to hit many different targets which will be explained in the beginning of the Full game.
Heres the demo: http://hosted.filefront.com/painkiller1011/

Heres some pics give me what you think

Same here....entity layout's realistic, lighting is tasty.....

Are you using shaders effects, or was that thug in the distance static?

ok in level one i got to the part with the kitchen and it crashed maybe because of the shaders please make a version with no shaders. But the lighting was pretty good and i noticed how mostly everything was static but i liked what i went through.

Pain, I'm considering playing this but Shaders and my PC don't mix.....

Has the demo you made been packaged? If not, then people can open the Setup.ini in Notepad, then go to the lines that say USEEFFECTSON---- and set all lines that mention effects to 0......

Then it'll have no shader effects, and Dude232 can play happily way....

Ok, hope you don't mind if I edit the Setup.ini, to remove shaders, and post it here....

Wouldn't want anyone editing the wrong lines, and possibly breaking their PC or something, would we?

That's impossible, but it couldn't hurt to upload it.

I've actually had FPSC crash my graphics driver. (Corrupted the driver... ) Needed to go find it again after recovering to a viewable windows. But... that was with a Mod, lol. Just felt like mentioning it.

It ran OK for me and looks fine.

One criticism I'd make from a game play point of view is that the first level didn't have much to engage the player, though the design itself was good. We get the briefing, but unless I'm missing something, it seems just a case of running through to the next level. Maybe a few guards to engage might help?

The idea of the second level (which I won't spoil for anyone by going into detail about) was clever, I thought, and a nice variation from the usual game play. Maybe this could even be epanded upon?

The third level did a great job of building tension. Because the AI is generally not smart, making the enemy seem frightening takes skill. I thought you did this really well with the placement and layout.

All in all, it looks very promising!

It ran on my computer without any problems, save for some heavy slowdown in the second level.

The level design was cool, and I dug the third level, since the deadliness of the enemies made the gameplay really suspenseful.

My only gripe with the game was the voice acting, which wasn't very good IMO.
But overall, excellent game.
