Where did you get the model? Its probably not meant for character use.

The model is the stock WW2 thug, I don't know why he's doing that. Reinstall FPSC then upgrade to the v1.09 BETA.

by the way you're circling the gun, and not his head, can I assume you edited it to make his head like that?

wicked 'do man

Try opening the gun's .fpe and messing with the rotation. Remember to delete the .bin and .dbo files after.

I think the gun model has been exported to X file as 'right handled' with JT exporter.
Try unticking this option and see what happens when re-exporting the model.

Hope this might help and good luck.

I edited the character in milkshape and exported it to X file (jt).
His head was done by me .My problem is the gun , I am fraid it will kill the thug himself.
Sorry for not explaining it clearly in first post.

Hi and Listen:

No.1) It wont kill him
No.2) The gun has not been positioned correctly or at the correct angle. Open it up in milkshape, flip it round 180 degrees and export it back to .X format, test it out and replace the old .x model, that should work.

...nope.

Open the .fpe file, and find the line:

fixnewy = 0

The line either looks like this, or:

fixnewy = 180

Edit the value to the opposite of what I've just shown you (change 0 to 180, or change 180 to 0),
and save the .fpe file. Delete the .bin file and restart FPSC.

I had the same problem with my first animated entity, forget fpe, this will fix the gun. Go back to milkshape 3d and export it with this settings. Good luck.

I meant, don't worry about fixing the fpe file, trying to fix the problem with the gun, that will only make your character face the opposite direction still shooting at you but with the same problem.

thank you all
this is my way to settle it: I used milkshape to edit the character.when I exported it, I chose right-handled.so the gun has a good look now.
but another problem is the animation. one of the frames is not right.when the character changed an action to another action , there would be a bad frame. It looks like he lay down on the air. I couldn't
see it clearly.I guess some position option is wrong.
