why does my model look like that? And when i UV map and get the texture map it doent look right in entity workshop.

EDIT: wow... sorry someone move this to models and media please i had a brain fart

Maybe its too small, resize it.

First, we need to know what program you are using, although at a glance it appears to be either:

a) Problem with flipped normals
b) Incorrect UV mapping
c) Poor DX plugin (or wrong settings)
d) If you are using Max, collapse the modifier stack and convert the whole lot to an editable poly/mesh

i used wings 3d to make the model and UV mapper classic to uv

Probably ought to try blender or milkshape, the former being free.

blender is good... but thats not the point

looks like a problem with the model, its the way the light hits the object

Maybe when you UV mapped it you didn't save another obj file?
