Hello fellows! I'm still new here but I won't start to beg for models or textures. I want to make my own. I have 3D max 2008 and I'm learning how to use it. I've started with a ready humanoid with bones and edited it for my project. Thanks to the advice from LT Tatters I now have Panda exporter and can export to x files. But I still have some unclear things.

-Mates, can you explain me in details how to animate my model? I have downloaded the ready animation for fps but it doesn't works with 3Dmax. Does anyone know where to find ready animations for fps?
-Then I am not sure what the options for the exporting to .x format must be.
-And at last - How can I texture my model?

I have searched the forum but couldn't find anything useful for 3dmax. And the link for the rigging tutorial is expired.

If anyone makes or has made models with 3d Sutio Max I would be very grateful to learn how

Thanks to everyone in advance

Many Regards,

1) I believe there is a download in 3ds format...but I don't know where, sorry.

2)I'd play around with them.

3) UV map the model with the 3ds max UV mapper or a free one like UV mapper classic. You can find some tutorials on that around these forums.

Try fragmotion and milkshape 3d. The two can import and export diffirent kind of models.because you need an .X file in fpsc.so I think your problem is how to export 3ds or max file to X file.and then you should learn how to use the fpe file in fpsc.so you can make your model in 3dmax ,and then use fragmotion or milkshape 3d to export x file, and then get it fpsc ready.
I think there is no animation in fpsc for 3dmax, they are all x files.the only problem is how to import and export it.
