Daniel,

How do you keep the poly count low in cb model pro, I tried a simple sphere with one arm in low poly but it was like 10000 polys. I love the program, really easy to use.

well the easy way is to only build from the same object by pulling and necking, if you use 2 or more objects to builed with then it counts 2 objects poly count, but builed from one piece and it stayed at about the same.remember you have the sliders at the bottom, so if you point pull on the end slide it back and forth to get difrent effects.plus there is three buttons on the left, low, mediun, high, only choose low.import texture in for the paint part by acsesing the import folder in your models directory, usully in my documents. if the model is really tight together as in looking smooth then its high poly, its all really in experamenting, there are relly good tutts, ill get the link for you.plus there is point poke, this is how you add to the object without getting to high pollys

Thanks

ok here it is, he is already animated but has no maps or textures, working on that also

modeled his body and legs and feet, used Creature Creator for his head and hands.

vertices
1822

faces
3499

i could have easly done the head and hands but this makes it easy and faster

well, it does in a way but they have to be formated a sertin way that makes it not worth it, the object files have to be under 100 kilbites, thats right you heard me kilo. and the sides have to not be inverted together in a certen way. they say in the fourms that there will be in the furture

i will also be doing a tut to show how i did the devil in cb model pro soon. its real fast and easy. turns out high poly but you can reduse the polys in 3ds max if you own it, or you can buy one from the game creators store
