Looks ok. CBPro is interesting, but I don't think it's as easy or as good as MS3D.

That's a good point, but so far all of the models posted in this thread look like a bunch of circles mushed together, and the reshaped creatively to make it a proper model. And they are all very high poly.

lol, right. all the models here in this thread that i moded are all under 3000 polys, very good detail and you dont hold a candel to whats in here

plus they are free

but i guess 1 bad critic to many many good critics is ok.

pluss i would like to add when you export any model the program tranforms the model to be perfectly semetrical in shape. try it out and then place it into uv mapper then take a look

Hey, slow down. I did not want to start an argument or just be a plain w***er. I did not say that any of these models are bad, or that CBpro sucks. I'm just saying that I think that MS3D is simpler (for me, anyway), and that the models just look like they are spheres molded together to make a good model. That's what all models are, basically. Except most of the time they are boxes instead of spheres. I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Daniel, man your fast at making model's. Although, taking it slower does help, the heads on all your people and characters seem to circular and less detailed than what they should be. Not trying to insult you, but just trying to tell u heads need a little more work. Is some good crit/ suggestions for you to work on.
All the best,

too be honest this modeller is kinda basic and rubbish. As it looks like it doesn't make great models, yeah its a interesting tool. But that is my oppinion, and I think its just a mess-around tool, not a tool which would be used in major games or game industry.

Deathead as far as this not being commercial quality I both agree and disagree. If the painting program worked better than it does which is not totally bad as it is it would be commercial quality, but as far as the modeling goes if you know how to model in it properly it is commercial 100% for any game. If you just make the model and export it out with no map and make the map outside of the program than would have commercial quality, but remember it is still in beta and they will be coming out with a new version soon I think.

GP PrOdUcTiOnS I checked out your thread and am glad you are modeling it is an art form and you have to practice to be a good artist. You are on the right track. Go to all the tutorials from everybody about modeling even on the internet and follow the tutorials as close as you can as long as you can.
