Quote: "Plus does water for gas really work?"

get a battery, (Minumum 12v)
Get 2 wires and connect one end of them to the Battery
Get 2 Conductive Items, (Say Tea Spoons), and connect then to the other end of the wires
get a glass of water and place the 2 spoons in the water, (Dont et the Spoons Touch).

You will see bubbles coming out of the water, bubbles coming from one of the spoons will be oxygen, and the other spoon will be hydrigen, if the too are mixed togeter in the wright quantity then it can be explosive, If you put a light to the bubbles, then it will ignot, (thats one way to set water on fire)

If you want the chemical reaction to happen quicker then either up the Volts or add Salt to the water.

I assume its an idea like this which is used on water powered cars?

Solar power plants are the way to go (NOT solar panels. In their current state, solar panels are useless for most things)

Look up 'Solar One', 'Solar Two' and 'Solar Tres' to see what I mean

They are perfect for use in the desert where land is virtually free, and there is a lot of sun, and no other use for it. Also, it is far from where people live, so cannot possibly disturb them in any way. It is perfectly clean, requires virtually no maintenance, is perfectly safe, and continues to generate electricity even when there is no sun! (The liquid is superheated, so it continues working through the night, etc.)

haha here in texas its like $3.86! its all speculation. my dad works for an oil company and he tells me that a barrel of oil is really worth like $90. its only $135 or so because of speculation. plus, maybe if we (the US) pulled our troops out of Iran and stopped government spending on a war we aren't even sure what we are fighting for...then maybe gas would be a tad cheaper. $1 billion dollars a day is spent alone on that war in iraq...not to mention other government spending which is bringing up our national debt like crazy so the government just taxes our gas to make up for it.I honestly dont think we will run out of oil anytime soon. i think its more of a 'panic' but things will calm down...not significantly but they will and people will learn to cope and life will move on.

oh ya, china is nowhere near clean....where do you think the flu comes from?

Good luck picking up your date at the bus stop!

Seriously, I do public transportation every day while my wife has the car--- it's not so bad. Riding the SkyTrain and then going on the bus that will take me 45 minutes when by car it would take me 15 does not feel good. Sometimes when the bus is full from picking up students and then just passes by my bus stop I feel like throwing rocks at the bus. Then I sit through a spiel from a "green" guy at work who tells us the great pleasures of public transportation and biking to work.

No hard feelings or anything, but chicks don't dig going to the movies by bus
