Hello all alot of u probably know me well im going to be leaving the fourms i thought it was proper to say good bye i am sad but i have lost interest in game development and i need to spend more time with my girlfriend. I will come on every once and a while and check on things but i wont be on all the time like befor. Its sad for me to say this but good bye i had a good time with you guys and i might be back for a month in the summer.

Why do you have to make a thread about it? Are you actually going to force yourself to forget the address of these forums so you don't occasionally check it? Rather than saying you're leaving, you could just spend less time on here, and you wouldn't have to make a thread about it. Who knows if you will really stay away completely.

Another one bites the dust.

If I ever plan to leave, I wouldn't make such a big show about it. People might miss a legend (6 dropped games, anyone?) but in all factuality, they really won't care.

Never. I'll be making a game in v2 that'll be similar to HL2, just a bit more 2008-ish, and is similar to a non-sandbox GTA4. It'll be called WarFact: Crusaders from Hell.

In my experience, the people who say they're leaving always come back (sometimes sooner than we'd like, hehe). It's the people who never announce they're leaving, they're the ones that don't come back. Except me, I vanish for weeks (or months sometimes) on end and no one notices I'm gone. I'm sleuthy like that lol.

Hmm I left about 1 year and a half ago, but I never bothered writing a thread. Ok, not left. More like a break.
Seeing as how you regged in 06, I don't see why many people will care. If you perhaps regged in 05 or sooner, I could see why this thread would be necessary.

On a less mean note, hope your real life treats ya well. I've heard it can have sudden surprises. Not rendering issues, but the AI creates uncomfortable scenarios. :o

These forums are addicting if they're actually active. But they're growing less active (Everywhere I am, anyways... Coincidence?) and have less of an addiction to them. In my opinion if you need to spend more time with your girl friend, and CAN'T come back to the forums regularly that just means you're girlfriend is controlling, or that you're young (IMO).

I'm "young" too, so I guess that's a bit hippocritical.

Anyways, best of luck to ya, and your girlfriend.
