You mean guns that noobs use, I've done many scrims and have been playing CS/CSS for many years, I'd be amazed if you see anyone using a famas/228/M249 etc in any serious matches, simply because they are a waste of money and not good for any serious games. I will personally stick with my USP as a CT but buy a deagle as T if it's the first round, or if I have a lot of spare cash, otherwise I'll stick with the glock. If I have the money I'd get an AK/M4 simply because they are accurate, don't cost too much and do a nice amount of damage. If I can't afford it then I'd get an MP5 or deagle, if I'm on a map like Dust2/Office I will get an AWP if I can afford it, especially as a CT simply because they are good maps for sniper cover, you can call them noob weapons all you like but using the others will put you at a disadvantage.
Depending on the map and money I have, I will buy at least one flash and a defuse kit, if I have more I'll buy a second and then a nade. As for the rest, it's not really something you can instruct over a forum, you just need practice. Things like being able to hear very well, which requires good headphones(never use external speakers), and when you hear something you need to be able to identify very quickly where the sound is coming from, even when being shot at from behind at close range you do have a chance at killing them. If I hear running behind a wall and there's no allies there then I'd most likely throw a flash then pop out and kill them, when hearing running it's important to walk so they don't hear you, but this depends on the situation.
If you plan to be of any use in a game you need to master sniping(as well as close-quaters combat), as easy as it may sound with an AWP, due to it being almost always 1 hit kill, against another good sniper it's very hard. The main thing is to just learn all the maps, and I don't just mean learn your way around but watch other good players and see where they hide, see how they attack etc, it isn't easy. If you think you're ready and that people using M4s are still noobs with no skill then find yourself a mix scrim against good players and see how you do :p, in comparison pub players are almost always far worse, mainly due to the lack of coordination between them.
