Preety basic, and not exactly tileable.

overal I give this: 5/10 galactic credits, a 3 for effort, and 2 for pride in posting.(been watching too much milk paton, now getting that damn galactic credits crap in my head.)

Hey Luke!
Im guessing your using photoshop or gimp,
Following these steps gives a nice metal texture -

1.)Select the darker/lighter metal colours,
2.) Filters -> Render -> Clouds
3.) Filteres -> Artistic -> Sponge
4.) Edit -> Fade Sponge by 70-80%
5.) Edit the brightness/contrast
6.) Use any metal photo as a overlay at 60-80% Transparacy
7.) Sharpen the entire image.

This normally gives great results,

Hmm, I wouldnt suggest doing that at all if possible,
I followed the intructions i gave early and came up with this. Feel free for anyone to use it,

Ill write up a little HowTo when i get a chance. I know it looks nothing like metal, so its concrete -_-
