hi this is my 1st model done in milkshape, i know its not great but what does everone think?

...for a first model, it's a pretty good attempt.

C&C:

That rectangular pelvis/hip area is a no go. It doesn't work with the rest of the model's lines.

While it's understandable why you went in the that direction, the single columnal legs are going to present you with severe deformation concerns, should you begin to animate the model. You'd be better off reworking the legs in a similar fashion as the arms...

Hmmm, well I wouldn't start with characters, I'd try doing something a bit more simple, but good for a first. However I believe most people when making characters either do it vertex by vertex or by box modeling.
