UPDATE:more(and better) screenies further down

Hi everyone, idecided to cancel my other game and start this one.

Story:

My name is Daniel, when i was 10 my small town got swarmed with these, creatures. they soon took over everything, like locust they destroyed everything in there path...I...was one of the few survivors. Now im 20, enlisted into the miliary, the goverment said that the incident in my town was a terrorist attack, but i know what i saw.Now i have been sent back to my home town to retreave a fallen oprative. i have gone back, to TOTAL DARKNESS

There arnt any light at th emoment because it a desearted town. there will be laer on though (plus is at night/evening time)

lol dont mind the FPS it cuz i took the screenshots on my laptop ant it is SLOW!

Looking good, but if you aren't going to have lights in it, then I'd suggest using something like s4real's flashlight, it is excellent and would add a lot to your game. Keep up the good work!

Ambient light makes the game look flat. Tone it down to a setting of 5 or 10 and get those lights into your scenes.

thanks, i have toned the abient to 2 (to make it TOTAL DARKNESS )and added natural lights like the moon.

Will post new screenie and mabey demo soon

Ok, died in level 3, but I got the idea of the game.

Level 1:
Too bland, needs more entities

Level 2:
The soldiers, they slowed me down so I just shot them.
Needs more entities
You overdid the ammo, I had about 2000 rounds
way too many planks.


So it was mostly you needed more entities, but not bad.

Ok, I tried to play through the rest but that swinging thing killed me. Its mostly a matter of more entities and more lights, and you'll be good.

Did "darkness" need to be taken so literally? It would be nice if you could implement a flashlight mod to impose an effect much like Silent Hill.

its ok, (WOW THATS WIERD!). unforunatly i had to format my computer so ALL of my game files are gone . although this game MAY be re-made i havent made up my mind. thanks to all who tested it. curses to those who hated it (if any)
