Hmm...I've always wanted to try rigging a gun. Hopefully this one will be more successful than the first one.

I have a WII, and it's always nice to win, even if prizes are bad.

I have a couple questions:

1. Is there a certain number of weapons we must have?
2. Do we post them here or e-mail them to the judges?

....

The thieving little........no, no...I'm already on Post Approval....

Well, anyways, you can't get people to make stuff, then sell it and keep the money for yourself, also, if they're posting them here, wo'll wanna buy them if they can get them for free on this here thread?

Do I have to actually give the weapon to anyone? Or can I just post screens of it?

BTW: Muzzleflash pack, eh? Looks like I have some competition.

@Splash down- I was going to post in your other thread but waited until I found something else that had your touch.

After looking at your site and reading through this thread I would recommend you stop what you are doing before it turns and bites ya.
Here is a list of things that you should take in to consideration.

1) You can not hold a compo and then sell the compo entries, you can not sell anything that was released for free, unless the license specifically allows it or you have paid for the license.
2) people here can not use MP6 hands on their model entries and then offer them for download here or anywhere on the internet.
3) If you are serious about selling things you need to get a non free website. get your own domain. If you're to young and have no job then you need to check with the local laws that govern employment and see if you can even open a business.
4) Register for a business license. You'll need this to make your site legit.
5) Register with the VAT offices in Europe and the UK as you will need to pay a nominal fee (VAT) for items that you sell in the UK and Europe.
6) Until you get better with 3D graphics/design hire someone to create models and graphics so you will actually sell something.

I know you will probably ignore this post, I might get a few people who will turn on the flame throwers and point them at me; I think you should pay attention to what people are trying to tell you before you get in to trouble.

Cheers,
Dave

I am in the middle of a move, and am using a library PC at the moment. I can not wait to get my rig back...

Other than that I am fine, how about yourself?

Cheers,
Dave

Simon Benge himself stated that we were free to use his mp6 hands in our own weapons, sold or free. He then posted the .max rigged file for the hands.

Fair enough; the point of my statement still remains.

5867Dude- it's ok to be harsh but at least have something that will help rectify the situation in your thread.
