Good job, but I don't think this qualifies as a BOTB. You can definitely get one if you solve some of this games major problems.

The story was presented kinda weakly, and it wasn't that good (you were in a warehouse the whole time, but you then activated the nuclear power plant?). The AI was kinda silly (zombies were unable to navigate around boxes, the soldiers reloaded before they shot). The level design was okay (most of the rooms looked the same to me, and it got kinda stale), and often times (mainly in the office), entire rooms were pitch black because of the lighting, making navigation throughout the level kinda confusing. Also, I would definitely tone down the fog, it made it nearly impossible for me to find doors, as they blended right in with the walls.

Overall, good job though, you did alot of everything, so I give you credit for that.

6/10 (which is pretty good on my scale)

I don't really know what to say other than "Thanks very much" but that might be a bit too...inadequate...so thanks very much lol.

What are your specs, I am running a decent/low system and I had very little lag on level 3...

ok i've tried and beaten your game. was the game 100% complete or was this only a demo? I must say you did a great job with the lighting and colors plus the sounds where good too. But it seems that most of not all the rooms where too plan and only had like a chair on da floor, a box and a desk. at the end of LV2 i heard a sound from the trigger zone you used (correct me if am wrong). You only used 2 types of enemies, Zombie cop and some guy from MP1. The ally part was useless, they didn't even kill any of them at all. You also need some music, alot of times there just plan nothing you hear. in the 4th level in the beginning, the wall from the outside where mixed up too much and looked like a building fuse with another. all in all a very good game!! Just fixing those things or others if I missed and add Bond1 zombies or something, make it longer and you'll be okay, the story also didn't made much sense at all. But its a start to something!

My score on "The Warehouse"

7/10 = Good Game!!

Ok, thanks 4125. It was actually the final version. I would have added some more zombies, but didn't have any points from the TGC store yet...as for the planeness, I can see what you mean.

Thanks for the reply too!

It wasn't plain at all. I don't know where he got that from. He must have been playing a different game.

Well I disagree, I just looked over the maps AND! In level 2, there is one room, that you don't have to go into that consists of a chair, a desk, and a box or two. So therefore the entire game is plain.

(lol)

EDIT: Darimc and 4125, I see both of your points, I think to settle it I'll use the word "sparse".

If you played it, you'll see alot of "plain" rooms at level 3 and 2. But its fine because as you create your levels, your desire to finish it grows and you just want to get it over with. With FPSC, you gotta have the time to look over your game and check for any errors or framerate drops etc. (which you did) it looks like you spent a good 30 mins or so placing entities on your levels.

i see you have notice yourself. but the entire game isn't too plain. You did the best job you could creating this and be proud of that. I think you should check out nickeydudes guide for some tips. but as far as the moody look and most of the sounds, your right on the dot with that. Am making my game ever since 2006, YES I had FPSC since 2006 but didn't wanted to join the fourms until i saw EFX and other mods.

Thats fine. but your good with about $20 for all his zombies. you should've gotall of your materals ready for your game. stuff that fits you...

Yes but think about it. In an abandoned warehouse, or any warehouse in general, it is a storage place. So the place wouldn't be very furnished, if at all. Plus, the warehouse may not be full and still have more storage place.

Am Not taking about the warehouse itself. the rooms of the warehouse has very few items placed to make it seem like a room or an office setting. In Level 3, your no long in the warehouse but in some long halls filled with more plain rooms. some isn't so bad.

The name of my game is called "Resident Evil: Extreme [Working title]. Am not going to REMAKE Capcoms oringinal RE Game. But am just using the name by means of a residential area and great evil. But to the extreme. I'll never given up this project!!!

POK, i liked the game. It fun and not boring. But levels were plain, just boxes and barrels or desks and overturned chairs. I would add some story to the warehouse. Like what warehouse is it for. Is it storage for food or companys? Then add some or entitys, based on what warehouse its for. Also, all the levels only had about 6-9 enemys. Try adding some more enemys, like a couple of more soldiers, or cops. But why were their both soldiers and mutated cops? Other than that, the game was fun, levels were designed good. I would give it a 6/10.

4125- Level 3 was the plainest of all the levels but it wasnt incredibly plain, in my opinion. I'll show an editor shot if you guys want.

Thestar-Thanks for the review! There were both mutated zombies, and soldiers because, the zombies were infested in there, and the troops were looking for people etc.

Punk- I prefer "INTENSE"

Puppy, what I meant by it wasn't clear was the fact that it shows the end room right before fading to black, so I didn't know if you lived or not.
