Hey all. I'm thinking of starting a Facebook group for us [strike]overly obssesed[/strike] dedicated DB/DBPro users. I first want to get a good collection of photos of users having a DB/DBPro "Nerd" moment

Here are my contributions:

I think it's a spot the difference.

I got one, the 'Beginner's guide to DarkBASIC game programming' book is in the second picture but not the first!

Yup, in the earlier released you'd get DBP and DBC in a nice box with a printed manual.

Though admittedly I like to sleep with a Chuck Norris cardboard cut-out, I'd show you, but you wouldn't be able to handle his masculine grin.

I sleep with myself, and I play in my sleep, so I play with myself.

Wait, that didn't come out right...

Maybe it's the contrast in colors, but doesn't it look photoshopped?

Oh my, You're right!

For anybody who's seen Judge dredd, I did a photo reverse manipulation technique like seen in the movie. This is how the picture looked like originally.

Terrifying.

Nah Grandma's was hilarious but I think Alucard went a little too far - I don't think much people find fat-chick jokes appropriate, I don't.

Probably for your own safety mate to edit it out.

Actually I sleep with a computer monitor in my bed lately... LOL

I ran out of storage spaces in my room and the bed has enough room for me to spare 2 square feet

Were you using DB here? Also I'm referring to the now and basing it on the fact that I haven't come across anyone on the forum from Adelaide as yet.

I find you come across DB users unexpectedly. You wouldn't expect most of the DB owners to have DB. For instance, person X (for privacy reasons) was not exactly fantastic with computers, but was alright with DB because of their maths ability.

Uh, I would. But my computer is to slow for Visual Studios, so I haven't had time to play with DarkGDK. Annnd, my programming teacher went on a 6 month symbatical (sp?) the quarter before I took C++ class. Oh well, he gave a me a huge book on the topic I promised to read while he was gone... I should probably get to that...

And to all you admiring my clock... hahaha, you haven't seen the other side of it. See those dents in it? That was just a few of the misfired Airsoft AK-47 round. The whole front is shattered

Yes and FPSC users (my classmate is one of those), it's even more strange when they're somebody from this forum sitting in your kitchen talking to your flatmate. (Baggers)
