In Dark Basic, press F11, and go to fast track learning and begin the tutorials from 1-5 that should help you quickly. This program requires coding, and does not have pre-made 'game editors' if you will.

Coding is not easy to do, and you will not be able to learn it in a day. In fact, you will always be learning something new. If you stick to it, you will get incredible results.

I have mad skills. I can make a dot follow your mouse in 2d. Don't try and tell me someone has done that before.

Keep going. It gets exciting, especially when you discover something new . But really, go to the tutorials thread and read some of TDK's tutorials. Of course, you can always look at the example programs that come with DB... I didn't even know about this forum when I started.

Same here. TDK Man's tutorials will get you through it all. It's not easy. But if I had discovered his tutorials before I began programming, it would have been much easier.

It's an excellent program, but if you want to make BIG games, it will take a lot of work and dedication, and it won't be easy.

However, don't be discouraged by that. It'll be a fun and exiting expeirence along the way, not to mention the language is very easy to learn. And we're always looking for more and more people to join our community.

If you do happen to use DBC, I recommend you to read TDK's Tutorials.
