It's been almost a year, and none of my submissions have been replied to...

If it makes you feel any better I have the same problem with my account email address. It hasn't been active for 4 years. I remember trying to get it changed back then and it never updated.

That's odd, I changed my email address on my profile a couple of months ago and it worked flawlessly ...

That's different. Changing your email address on your profile is straightforward. Changing your *account* email, the one you use to sign in on, is like pulling teeth (especially if the one you currently want to change from is not active).

Exactly. Can we do anything about this process? Can you mods, because your mods, file a more... formal(?) complaint about it so a solution can be put in place? My voice isn't reaching to someone who will, but could you guys bring it up or something to TGC?

What happens if I ever order something too? I mean the info will be sent to my old email, which isn't active anymore.

Maybe they are just sending the confirmation email to the old email address instead of the new... it should be going to the new.

well, the mousey speculates:

that a mod will truly be powerful....a la Matrix...if they can embedd red code onto the green code.

The green code being 'reality' and the red code&red pill ) being their abilites or technologies to alter the green code of a persons' mind or even affect the persons bodily senses and perceptions as if it was real. Or even into the green code itself...materilizations.

Well, you have seen the Matrix and other virtual reality movies. And especially the Star Trek series and the holodecks. And of course, Q and the Q continnum.

And I'm reading about Paradox Brown and also Lisa Randall.

I've not even bothered trying to get mine changed - ever since dropping my Hotmail account I just have a second account using my gmail in place for any purchases and my hotmail is just for the forums. I doubt TGC have any reason to contact me on my Hotmail account otherwise.

If it's better for you, why not just sign up another account away from the forums if TGC won't do anything about it.

That's pretty much what I do too. All my other purchases are on another TGC account altogether. My forum account is still on the old email. Oh well
