Well im saying is if we advertise around the time of the convention im sure we can get alot of people to come. And if we opened it to the public there would be more people coming which means more people more chance to sell things.

If you keep this closed to the general public, you won't get many visitors. This is a great chance to expand our community and inspire potential developers to get involved. It's an opportunity to get your local community involved in games. If you close it to only the TGC community, you'll not only have poor attendance, but you'll not be serving our community as much as you could.

Well yea. I never intended it to be a closed event. Of course it will be open to the public. The more the merrier. haha

If you opened it to the public wouldn't you have to spend quite a bit of cash on advertising? Also, what if Jo Somebody trips up while there, possibly over a trailing computer cable, and decided to sue? I realise that's a big IF but you never know, only takes one crackpot to decide it's all your fault.

I would guess. Plus many TGC fans live in the Midwest.

I doubt it. They do not have as much of a stranglehold on this as they would want. Full control or none, as I see it.
